Parc naturel de Monte Corno
Forêt et marais, prairie et mousse - le parc naturel de Monte Corno n'offre pas d'imposants sommets de plus de 3000 mètres, mais une incroyable diversité d'animaux et de plantes. Et grâce à la brièveté de l'hiver, les randonnées permettent de découvrir des fleurs et de la verdure presque toute l'année.
Le parc naturel de Monte Corno, tout au sud du Tyrol du Sud, est le parc naturel du Tyrol du Sud le plus riche en espèces. Il entoure une crête boisée entre la vallée de l'Adige et la vallée de la Cembra, composée de porphyre quartzeux rouge brunâtre et de calcaire dolomitique clair, offrant ainsi des contrastes particulièrement beaux. Le sommet du Monte Corno, qui culmine à 1 781 m, se trouve juste derrière la frontière du parc naturel et de la région du Trentin.

La réserve naturelle couvre une superficie de 6 851 ha et des parties des territoires communaux d 'Anterivo, Truden, Egna, Montagna et Salorno. L'éventail des différentes forêts est impressionnant - de la forêt de buissons supraméditerranéenne à la forêt d'épicéas subalpine. Les amateurs de fleurs seront ravis : environ 60 espèces d'orchidées différentes poussent dans le parc naturel. La flore et la faune des tourbières à haute valeur écologique du parc naturel sont également passionnantes : la rosée du soleil et l'adiante sont des plantes carnivores qui y sont originaires, qui capturent et digèrent les insectes et survivent ainsi même sur des sols pauvres en substances nutritives.

Que ce soit lors d'une randonnée sur le Hochwand jusqu'à l'alpage Cisloner Alm ou sur le biotope Lange Moos jusqu'à l'alpage Krabes Alm : dans le parc naturel de Monte Corno, les amoureux de la nature peuvent découvrir de belles vues panoramiques, des plantes rares et des endroits idylliques. Le Trudner Sagenweg et l'Anterivo Sagenweg sont particulièrement intéressants pour les familles avec enfants. Le sentier de découverte de la nature Gschnoner Rundwanderweg, avec la chaire comme point de vue grandiose, est également adapté aux familles et informatif.

Au centre du village de Truden, la maison du parc naturel familiarise les petits et les grands avec les animaux, les plantes et la géologie de la réserve naturelle. Certains jours, il est possible d'assister à la mouture du grain par un moulin à élévateur ou à la cuisson du pain dans un four à bois traditionnel. De plus, à Gfrill, un hameau de la commune de Salorno, il existe un point d'information qui fournit des informations intéressantes sur l'eau, les amphibiens et les oiseaux du parc naturel.
