Château de Velturns à Velturno
Le château de Velturno à Velturno est une perle parmi les monuments du Tyrol du Sud. Avec ses lambris et ses peintures murales d'origine, le château compte parmi les résidences Renaissance les mieux conservées de l'espace alpin.
Le château de Velthurns à Velturno a été construit au 16ème siècle comme résidence d'été pour le prince-évêque de Bressanone. Au fil des siècles, les propriétaires ont souvent changé. En 1978, le château est devenu la propriété de la région du Tyrol du Sud et a été restauré avec soin.
Des pièces aménagées avec art
Les visiteurs se réjouissent des peintures murales et des lambris très bien conservés. La chambre du prince et la chapelle Sainte-Catherine, la chambre de la chapelle et la chambre à coucher du prince-évêque laissent une impression durable. La salle d'exposition avec des découvertes archéologiques de Velturno et de la Valle Isarco ainsi que les deux salles avec des collections d'art valent également le coup d'œil.
