L'art du tissage du Tyrol du Sud
L'un d'entre eux est Herman Kühebacher de San Candido, qui a appris à tisser lors de ses voyages en Écosse et en Irlande. Sa gamme de produits comprend des tissus en laine foulée, des couvertures en laine, des serviettes de bain, de sauna et de toilette, des nappes, des rideaux, des écharpes, des tapis et bien d'autres choses encore. Kühebacher utilise en outre des laines nobles comme l'alpaga, la vigogne ou le cachemire ainsi que la soie, en misant toujours sur un élevage respectueux des animaux et sur le commerce équitable.

Les produits tissés à la main de Herman ne sont pas seulement particulièrement beaux et tous des pièces uniques, ils se conservent aussi toute une vie. On peut rendre visite à ce drôle d'Innichois, par ailleurs membre du groupe traditionnel Titlà, dans son atelier de tissage de Villabassa.
