Once a week, interests apple fans can learn more about apple growing in Meran and environs on the Apple Trail in Algund.

Each Friday from 12 June to 2 October 2026, Gerti Ladurner from Klosterbauerhof farm accompanies all interested persons through the apple orchards in the surroundings of Algund. The participants will learn more about the history of apple growing in South Tyrol, about the apple varieties and about how the South Tyrolean apples are marketed.

At the end of this informative apple tour, the participants can taste apples at Klosterbauerhof farm.

The Apple Trail Algund at Klosterbauerhof farm takes place from 3:30 pm, with meeting point in front of the tourist office in Algund. Registration is necessary until 4 pm the day before at the tourist office. Participation is free of charge.
