Autumn in Schenna: Farm bars and mountain huts exercise themselves in culinary seducement and the whole village sits down and tastes new wine and roasted chestnuts.
A very special event during the tasteful autumn and “Törggelen” season in Meran and environs is the so called "Schenner Bauernkuchl" scheduled for 21 October 2025. It is about rural specialities of the region and takes place in the village centre of Schenna.
The local farmer's wives will offer homemade delicacies such as dumplings with bacon, spare ribs with cabbage and sweet krapfen. Of course, you can also enjoy roasted chestnuts and wine – as well as the finest music!
