For example, in September it's dumplings, in October chestnuts and new wine, and in summer it's the wide variety of dairy products that attract food lovers to Sterzing in Eisacktal.
From 3 to 31 July 2026, foodies of all ages will be able to enjoy the Sterzing Yoghurt Summer. This event is not just about tasting different types of yoghurt, but also about introducing guests to the Eisacktal, its people and local products.
After more than two decades of the “Sterzing Yoghurt Days”, this year's Yoghurt Summer brings a breath of fresh air to the series of events – and to the accompanying gourmet programme (Further details of the programme will be announced shortly):
- Farm tour
- Yoghurt tasting
- Yoguritivo family festival
- Picnic
- Alpine gondola dinner
- Mountain hike
In addition, there are guided tours at the Sterzing dairy (Monday to Friday by appointment). The events invite children and adults to rediscover the world of Sterzing yoghurt and enjoy the summer to the fullest.
