Description de l'itinéraire

Monter en bus ou en voiture jusqu'au refuge Sarner Skihütte (1 618 m). De là, suivre le sentier 2 le long du ruisseau jusqu'à l'Auener Alm (exploitation estivale) et l'Auenjoch. Au grand carrefour, prendre le sentier 4 ou E5 qui traverse des prairies alpines dégagées jusqu'à la crête du Schöneck (2 001 m). C'est ici que se trouvent les innombrables tours de pierre autour desquelles se tissent de nombreuses légendes.

Descente : des 'Stoanernen Mandern', retour à l'Auenjoch, puis au Kreuzjoch et retour au refuge Sarner par le sentier 15 ou 2A.
