Highlights include the Buhurt tournament and the field battle, the historical parade and the spectacular fire show. There will also be over 70 market stalls offering everything from culinary delights to handicrafts. Music and dance, as well as jugglers and a children’s programme, make this medieval festival near Sterzing a varied excursion destination for the whole family.
The Reifenstein Knights’ Days in the Eisacktal Valley are among the largest medieval events in South Tyrol, combining history, entertainment and castle romance into an unforgettable experience. Against the impressive backdrop of Reifenstein Castle in Freienfeld, visitors are immersed in the world of knights and damsels and experience the Middle Ages with all their senses: on Friday & Saturday from 10:00 to 23:30 and on Sunday from 10:00 to 19:00.
