Christmas time in Girlan on the Wine Route is celebrated in a very special way: here, wine meets Christmas!
If you would like to know, in what way the oldest wine village in South Tyrol celebrates Christmas, you should not miss the exhibition Wine-world Christmas in Girlan near Eppan.
From 1st December 2023, visitors have the possibility to see Christmas artworks at the village centre. The creative and authentic Christmas decoration is created of staves and pit bottoms. The curved sideboards of the pits are also called "taufen" in Girlan.
The Christmas artworks will decorate the village centre of Girlan until 8th January 2024. They are especially beautiful at twilight, enlightening the streets in a magical way.
