Domaine skiable de Watles
Le domaine skiable de Watles n'est pas immense, mais il séduit par ses nombreuses activités hivernales pour toute la famille, ses nombreuses heures d'ensoleillement et son vaste choix d'activités. Avec le Nordic Center Schlinig, il dispose en outre d'un centre de ski de fond et de biathlon de renommée internationale.
Situé au-dessus de Malles Venosta, Watles détient le record du nombre d’heures d’ensoleillement parmi les domaines skiables déjà très ensoleillés de la Südtirol Skiarena. Le forfait de ski, valable dans trois pays– l’Italie, la Suisse et l’Autriche –, garantit des plaisirs de glisse transfrontaliers entre le Tyrol du Sud et le Tyrol du Nord ; par ailleurs, Watles offre une grande variété d’activités pour tous les goûts.
Du fun, du fun, du fun
La piste de freeridede près d’un kilomètre de long et le snowpark ravissent les adeptes du freestyle et les snowboardeurs qui aiment les défis. Sur la Family Fun Line, débutants et skieurs confirmés trouveront des possibilités d’entraînement à différents niveaux, tandis qu’au jardin des neiges Bubo Kinderpark, les plus petits font leurs premiers pas sur les skis sous la supervision d’animateurs qualifiés.
Ski de fond et bien plus encore
Le Nordic Center Schlinig, qui accueille des compétitions internationales de ski de fond, propose plus de 15 kilomètres de pistes parfaitement préparées. Mais les skieurs de fond ne sont pas les seuls à y trouver leur compte : Watles est l’endroit idéal pour les randonnées en raquettes, les randonnées hivernales et le ski de randonnée – des parcours tranquilles aux itinéraires exigeants, il y en a pour tous les goûts. L'école de ski de Watles compte parmi les meilleures écoles de ski du Tyrol du Sud et détient le certificat « Or » pour les écoles de ski pour enfants. Les moniteurs proposent des cours collectifs pour les enfants et les débutants, ainsi que des cours particuliers pour tous ceux qui souhaitent perfectionner leur technique.
