Cross-country skiing enthusiasts, watch out! One of the most exciting cross-country marathons in South Tyrol takes place at the end of January 2024: the Moonlight Classic in the holiday region Seiser Alm.
As soon as the moon ascends behind the snowy peaks of the Dolomites, the athletes will compete for a medal on the competition routes.
For the competition, the cross-country skiers will be equipped only with a head torch and their cross-country skis. The event under the starry sky of the Seiser Alm will surely be a unique experience – for the athletes as well as for the many visitors.
The participants can choose between two distances: The more challenging one is 30 kilometres long. For all those, who want to try something easier, there is another route of 15 kilometres. The starting point and finishing line for the Moonlight Classic marathon are in the village of Compatsch.
