When the days are again shorter and cooler, for cows, sheep and goat it is time to break off their summer resorts on the alpine pastures.
Like in many other places in South Tyrol, there are welcomed also in Sexten with a big feast when they come down to the valley.
On the square of the skiing region Mt. Helm there are offered different traditional concerts, funny games like “prize milking” and “calf rating” and rural handcraft. Not to forget about many tasty delicacies, which are prepared by the local farmer’s wives and the big pageant.
