The notorious Gran Risa run in La Villa in Alta Badia has been the venue of alpine ski world cups for many years.
But the races are not the only point on the programme. The venturous ski racers are going about the Gran Risa slope with a length of 1,255 metres, 448 metres of difference in altitude and a maximum gradient of 69 %. At the same time, down into the valley, there is offered a thrilling ski world cup supporting programme.
Therefore, for a short time La Villa is no longer a placid and idyllic mountain village in the Dolomites, but an exciting festival centre for ski fans from all over the world. In 2023, there take place two Men's Giant Slalom on 17th and 18th December.
Tip: Also in the neighbouring valley Gröden there takes place an annual ski world cup in December.
