The focus is on animated productions from all over the world – from imaginative stories to experimental formats. The programme is complemented by workshops, meetings with filmmakers and events that encourage dialogue between the audience and creative professionals. Current developments, such as the influence of artificial intelligence on animation, are also explored.
Highlights are exclusive screenings and discussions with international guests, which make the festival a vibrant meeting place for the animation scene. Many events at the Centro Trevi, the Cineplexx Bozen and the Ciné Museum are free to attend and invite visitors to discover new perspectives on film and visual storytelling.
