Welcome to the Residence Rosarela in Abtei

The Residence Rosarela is located in a dreamlike position in the meadows below Mt. Kreuzkofel, only a 15-minute walk from the village of La Villa (Stern). The place between the wonderful peaks of Alta Badia is perfect to spend a holiday in the rhythm of nature. We love and respect the mountain world all around, that is also why we have a sustainable climate friendly house. There are 2 double rooms and 10 newly designed apartments in various sizes available for our guests. Our apartments all have a balcony and modern comforts such as free Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchenette and a bathroom with shower, WC and bidet.

Breakfast, garden & wellness oasis

During the high season in summer and winter we offer you a rich breakfast buffet. On request, we also bring fresh bread to your apartment every day. The Residence Rosarela has a sun terrace, a garden with loungers and parasols, a barbecue, a small herb garden and a playground with table tennis for children. On the lower ground floor, there are a garage, a ski room and a small but nice wellness area. There, a bio and infrared sauna, a relaxation room, an outdoor whirlpool and a Kneipp pool invite you to relax.

Hiking, biking & winter sports in the Dolomites

Our house is an ideal starting point for hiking and cycling tours. Beautiful trails in different levels run through the woods all around and lead you, for example, to the Mt. Heiligkreuzkofel, to the Armentara meadows or to the neighbouring villages of St. Kassian, Stern and Abtei. In winter, the free ski bus service takes you to the lifts in just a few minutes. Then you can explore famous slopes like those of the Sellaronda, the Gran Risa World Cup slope and many others.

Convenient and commanding location, just 5 minutes from Badia.
The residence has been recently renovated.
Our room had a large terrace with a view, and the house and kitchen have everything you need for cooking and cleaning.
It's an excellent starting point for hiking in Alta Badia.
We stayed in the summer, and we also appreciate the large outdoor area with space for a barbecue, loungers, and a ping pong table.
One thing we appreciated were the greenhouses with fresh herbs, where guests can pick basil, rosemary, marjoram, sage, and more to cook with.

About 5 minutes by car from the free parking in Badia (Sellaronda). The owner, upon request, will take skiers to and from the ski lift. Super clean rooms, fully equipped—dishwasher, detergent, sponges, soaps, paper towels, and more. Comfortable beds. Well-heated apartment. Sauna. The owner and the service are very discreet and professional. Excellent communication. Highly recommended.

A charming residence with spacious common areas (garden, barbecue, ping pong table, deck chairs, trampoline, and a small spa). The location is beautiful and quiet, just above La Villa, though not convenient for walking. The apartments are very comfortable, though perhaps the only flaw is the small stove.

A very nice, quiet accommodation situated above the hillside with a view of La Villa. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the beds were very comfortable. As we were there for skiing, the private shuttle service was very helpful (8:30-10:00 am and 3:30-5:00 pm included).

Three weeks in the fall of 2023 that we will never forget. The rooms were simply fantastic, so well-kept and inviting. The location was a dream, so quiet and with breathtaking views. But the best part were our hosts – incredibly helpful and friendly. We felt right at home. I wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation. You won't regret it.

Nice studio apartment with everything you need (even a dishwasher). It's a little out of town, but very quiet with a beautiful view. We also appreciated the outdoor hot tub and the midweek cleaning. I highly recommend it.

The apartment is lovely, spotlessly clean, and impeccable. The residence is in a beautiful setting overlooking meadows and farms, just 3 minutes from the center of Badia and a few kilometers from Corvara. It's a strategic location for various excursions. The owner is friendly and discreet. Total peace and relaxation!
