Welcome to the Kessler's Mountain Lodge in Natz

On a panoramic plateau near the village centre of Natz, the family-run Kessler's Mountain Lodge offers luxurious chalets and spacious apartments in the middle of the apple orchards. Our guests will look forward to holidays in cosy, yet elegant lodges embedded in luscious nature. Our chalets each have 2 terraces, a fireplace and a private wellness area with Finnish sauna and outdoor hot tub. Each of our apartments comes with a terrace and, in the park between the chalets and the apartments, there is a freestanding pool with loungers and a wellness hut with a Finnish sauna, a cosy relaxation area and an outdoor shower.

Cosy ambience

Our guests start their days with our generous breakfast basket with regional and partially homemade products. At lunchtime and in the evening, our new soul-food restaurant (à la carte, closed on Mondays and Tuesdays) tempts you to savour the authentic yet modern flavours of South Tyrol. On top, we offer free parking, free Wi-Fi and a bike depot. Kids will look forward to their play corner, playground, football pitch and volleyball court. For a small fee, we offer rental e-bikes, as well as barbecue facilities. In the farm shop, you can treat yourself to various products from local farmers, such as apple juice and apple rings.

Holiday highlights at any time of year

Directly near Kessler’s Mountain Lodge in Natz-Schabs, you can head out for a hike along the apple orchards and start exciting bike tours. The lovely historical town of Brixen is only about 10 minutes away by car, and the mountain Plose offers lots of fun for families all year long. The ski and hiking area Gitschberg Jochtal is only 20 minutes away by car. Our guests receive the Natz-Schabs Card to enjoy free rides on public transport in South Tyrol and many other advantages.

Our stay at Kesslers Mountain Lodge was absolutely perfect! The lodge is situated in a wonderfully peaceful area, nestled among sprawling apple orchards, providing a stunning backdrop and absolute relaxation. With around 300 days of sunshine a year and the fantastic weather we enjoyed during our stay, it was a pure delight to explore the surroundings and soak up the sun. We received a warm welcome upon arrival – even with our dog. The entire hotel staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always eager to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Our well-being was truly their top priority! We were particularly impressed by how flexibly and accommodatingly they handled our special requests – whether regarding meals, check-in, or check-out, everything was taken care of immediately and with a smile. The combination of warm hospitality, a beautiful location, and first-class service makes Kesslers Mountain Lodge a true hidden gem. We wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation – and are already looking forward to our next visit!

We felt completely at home at Kessler's Mountain Lodge. The very hospitable staff, the immaculately maintained grounds amidst the local apple orchards, and the overall commitment to sustainability made our stay truly perfect.

The apartment is in a very nice location, right next to the apple farms, and it's very quiet. The place consists of cabins, each with several apartments. There's a reception, a nice little restaurant, and a small grocery store for basic necessities (for a fee, of course). There's also a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer for 5 euros. In the middle of the cabins are various games for children, a football and volleyball field, and a small swimming pool. The apartment managers are all, without exception, very kind and courteous. They are among the kindest and most respectful people we've ever dealt with. Pros: Very clean. High security. You enter each apartment with a special card. The apartment has everything you need, such as clean sheets and blankets, a fully equipped kitchen, a heating system, balcony chairs with a small table. The bathroom provides shampoo, soap, towels, a hairdryer, cleaning supplies, a clothesline, and garbage bags. Free parking. Cons: The only downside is the lack of air conditioning. I wouldn't recommend it in the summer, but they do provide a fan.

My wife, our 21-month-old daughter, and I stayed at Kessler's for a month. We really enjoyed our stay. The property is nestled among apple orchards near Naz (just a short, pleasant walk away). Everything is made with top-quality materials, and nothing has been left to chance. Our apartment was spacious and equipped with every comfort, with a practical and well-equipped kitchen. A spacious and well-furnished terrace offers views of the mountains and fruit trees that surround Kessler's. There's also a convenient on-site laundry room, which was essential with a small child. Their on-site restaurant has also been open for dinner for a few days. We haven't had the chance to try it, but other guests we met said the food was excellent. The owners were very kind and helpful. Special mention also goes to the staff, who never let us go without anything. We will definitely consider staying at this property again in the future.

A wonderful place! The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and fully equipped to make the most of your holiday. Everything is kept spotlessly clean, which creates a wonderful sense of tranquility. The restaurant is highly recommended: delicious food and a lovely atmosphere. We will definitely be back! Once you've been here, you'll never want to leave.
