The traditional and family-run Art Hotel Gratschwirt*** welcomes all guests with relaxed cosiness and modern comfort, with hearty hospitality and Alpine-Mediterranean delicacies. Our hotel is the ideal choice form families and active guests, wellness fans and gourmets. Enjoy wonderful holidays in the incomparable mountain world of Hochpustertal region in the Dolomites. For our guests, we offer different rooms and suites. All of them are comfortably equipped with much wood and have a bathroom with shower/WC and hairdryer as well as safe, telephone, radio, TV and free WLAN. Depending on the category, there are bidets, bathtubs, make-up mirrors, minibars, balconies or terraces too. Our hotel offers two elevators, free parking spaces and a storage room for skis and bikes. A bus stop is to be found right in front of our hotel.

Cuisine, wellness & family highlights

In the morning, you can start your day right with our varied and rich breakfast buffet. At dinner, we serve a gourmet menu with several courses that you can select individually. Our cuisine is a mix of traditional regional specialities and of light Mediterranean dishes. Also, our guests love relaxing in our bar and on the panoramic terrace. After your outdoor activities, you can relax in our wellness area with indoor pool, whirlpool, saunas, steam bath, infrared cabin and solarium. In case of good weather, you will spend relaxing moments in our Feng Shui garden with sunbathing lawn. Kids are offered an outdoor playground and a play corner with video games, table soccer, billiard and more in the hotel. Accessibility and car park with electric charging station are available from July 2026 (we are renovating).

Hiking, skiing & more in Hochpustertal

The mountain peaks, Alpine meadows and woods around our Art Hotel Gratschwirt are a paradise for mountain fans and cyclists. For our guests, we offer guided hikes too. The nearby Adventure Park Toblach offers a high-rope course for families. In winter, the small ski centre Toblach is just perfect for kids and beginners. By train or by car, you can also reach the popular ski areas of 3 Zinnen Dolomites and Mt. Kronplatz in a few minutes. Cross-country skiers, snowshoe hikers and tobogganers are spoilt for choice in the surroundings too.

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Hotel Gratschwirt in Toblach at the end of the summer season, and we have to say – it was simply WOW! The location is perfect, surrounded by breathtaking nature. The recently renovated room was a true retreat: comfortable, clean, spacious, and equipped with all the amenities you could need. The staff was super friendly, attentive, and genuinely took care of our well-being with great warmth in every respect. The half-board dinner, a 5-course menu, was a highlight every day – delicious, varied, and more than sufficient. Our stay at the Hotel Gratschwirt was thoroughly relaxing and exceeded our expectations. Also worth mentioning is the wellness area with pool and sauna, where we found relaxation after our mountain activities. If the opportunity arises, we will definitely come back. Highly recommended for anyone seeking peace and quiet amidst the beauty of South Tyrol in the Dolomites.

We left our hearts here! My partner and I spent our second vacation here and can confirm that this family-run hotel is wonderfully managed. The attentive and friendly welcome makes guests feel at home. The property is traditional and well-maintained, the rooms are always beautiful and clean, and the food... simply fantastic! The hotel also has a wellness center, with saunas, Turkish baths, and more, which guests can use in the afternoon. It's a great way to unwind after a day of hiking. The hotel's location is excellent, allowing you to easily reach many destinations and is just steps from the bus stop. We will definitely be back and can't wait! Thank you so much to this wonderful family, see you soon!

A unique art hotel with impeccable service, every wish is fulfilled. It features a very clean hotel, a good spa area, and a Feng Shui garden for relaxation. The hotel management is extremely friendly, humorous, and uncomplicated. The hotel itself is like a museum, with lovely works of art and collectibles everywhere. Highly recommended. Very relaxing and simply wonderful.

The rooms adjacent to the garden with solarium and whirlpool are large and spotlessly clean, with bathrooms featuring both showers and bathtubs. I didn't use the spa, which is slightly out of the way.

Impeccable stay. The location is excellent and the property is well-connected to public transportation. The rooms are meticulously maintained, and the wellness area offers moments of true relaxation. Excellent service, with friendly and professional staff. The half-board option far exceeded our expectations: from appetizer to dessert, every course was a true treat. Excellent value for money, too. For years, I've been spending my holidays at this family-run hotel, located in the hamlet of Grazze, near the little church of Santa Maddalena, next to the forest and the path leading to the town center. The atmosphere is exquisite, with spacious, quiet rooms, some overlooking a garden with a pool and hot tub. The service is impeccable. The Pircher family and Zoran take great care and professionalism in caring for their guests, who are welcomed with utmost courtesy. The cuisine is excellent, Tyrolean with innovative touches. The staff is extremely attentive.
