The rooms and suites of Hotel Sunnwies offer any comfort and are furnished in a cosy way. Each room offers telephone, satellite TV, WLAN, minibar, safe, air conditioning, bathroom with shower, bathtub and hairdryer as well as a large balcony. From the culinary point of view, you will be spoilt with a rich breakfast buffet in the morning on the panoramic terrace and with a delicious dinner in the evening. As well, you will be offered various thematic evenings such as the gala dinner or barbecue nights. Of course, we always serve the suitable wines and a wine tasting will take place once a week.

Relax in our sauna world, in the indoor pool with whirlpool, at the new heated infinity pool as well as on the sunbathing lawn. Available as well are a solarium and a fitness room. The great dance evenings on the terrace are a real highlight! The surroundings of Hotel Sunnwies in Schenna are ideal for hiking and walking. Discover the hiking trails along the historical irrigation channels. The picturesque village centre of Schenna and much more on foot. Additionally, the hiking area Meran 2000 offers numerous other marked hiking trails, comfortable lift facilities and dreamlike mountain tours.

A wonderful, family-run hotel for relaxation and enjoyment, with breathtaking views over Schenna and the Merano Valley. We stayed there with our family between Christmas and New Year's and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The food, with its buffets and set menus, was excellent, and we would especially like to thank Silvia for her outstanding service. The hotel also boasts a lovely wellness area with indoor and outdoor pools. The latter is even open in winter and offers stunning views while swimming.

Everything was perfect, the food was excellent, the staff were friendly and attentive, the sky pool was fantastic, the indoor pool was beautiful, the location was great for transportation, and there was a good excursion program.

A structure that lives up to the most demanding expectations. We must thank the great "Sunnwies" family for their great hospitality and willingness to offer advice for a great mountain experience. The place is very comfortable, full of amenities such as the heated outdoor pool, but I would add, last but not least, a culinary ability on par with great gourmet restaurants! Fortunately, sometimes you choose well!!!

We had a great stay at the hotel. The owners and team are passionate about their work. The location in Schenna is really good. The road didn't bother us. There's a great outdoor pool. However, it still wasn't enough for a full score. This is due to the following reasons: We had a room for three people, but there were only two bathrobes in the room. The third bathrobe is available for a fee of €2.50. This is incomprehensible. It's not about the money, but the fact that three people need three bathrobes. After all, there were three beds and food for three people. The indoor pool is still a bit dated. However, it was very annoying that the mosaic in the whirlpool was coming off. Guests had placed the stones next to the whirlpool. This resulted in very sharp edges on the seating area. This needs to be improved. The sauna area was also a bit lackluster. The fountain there wasn't working, and it was quite dark overall. Since you can see in many places in the hotel that the family is constantly investing, these issues will surely be resolved soon. Thanks for the great time!

The hotel is run very personally by the owners, ensuring guests feel at home. The owner offers guided excursions weekly. It's well worth it! Two pools, indoor and outdoor, invite you to relax after a hike, as long as there aren't too many children running around in them. The food is very good and varied. However, the street noise is very disturbing, and unfortunately, this hasn't improved in recent years.
