The Hotel Am Sonneck is an oasis of tranquility and is located near fruit orchards in a sunny position. From our family-run house, you can enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the city of Meran and of the surrounding mountain world. The unique peaks of Texel Group seem to be very close.
For our guests, we offer lovingly furnished rooms and suites that are furnished with any comfort, offering a dreamlike view of Meran, Algund and the mountains in the environs. Relax in our well-being oasis with Finnish sauna, steam bath with precious marble from Laas, infrared cabin, relaxation area and bucket shower or on the sunny sunbathing lawn with solar-heated outdoor pool. Massage are offered on request too.
You can start your day right, in our Hotel Sonneck in Algund, with a hearty breakfast buffet in front of a wonderful panorama. At dinner, we will spoil you with our salad and starter buffet as well as with a menu of 4 courses with Tyrolean specialties and Mediterranean delicacies.
Our small guests will look forward to our playground and to the playroom with painting and crafting corner. Child carrier backpacks, highchairs and cots are available for rental.
The Hotel Am Sonneck is a good starting point for excursions and hikes. Tips and hiking recommendations are offered by the host and in the library with hiking info corner. Also, the host will accompany you on hiking tours. Backpacks and hiking sticks are available for free rental in the hotel. Our guests will also get AlgundCard, allowing you to use all means of public transport in South Tyrol for free, to have free access to more than 80 museums and to enjoy many other advantages.
