Appartement Winklerhof

The Winklerhof farm is located on the edge of the village Gais in Pustertal and offers a wonderful view of the Mt. Kronplatz ski and hiking area. 3 generations are living on our farm, surrounded by meadows and fields, woods and mountains. Our 5 comfortable apartments are characterised by a unique retro charm and are just perfect for all those who are looking for the very special holiday. The combination of a touch of nostalgia and modern facilities, of hospitable ambience and varied activities make the Winklerhof farm an ideal holiday home.

The apartments at Winklerhof vary in size and are individually furnished. With attention to detail and upcycling, we have created stylish and cosy feel-good rooms. The sauna is also presented in retro style and can be reserved for a fee. We grow cereals and fruit: homemade fruit spreads, potatoes, beetroot and fresh eggs from our chickens are available on request. Families especially enjoy the donkeys and rabbits as well as the playground on the farm. We also offer our guests a large lawn for sunbathing and parking spaces directly at the house.

In summer, the Kronplatz Dolomites Region offers varied activities, such as hiking tours, bike excursions and bathing in the natural pond of Gais. In winter, you can do skiing, tobogganing or ski touring. The stop of the free ski bus is only 300 m away. Practical are the covered parking spaces with charging possibility for e-bikes, the ski depot with heated ski boot dryer and the toboggan rental directly at the farm. Our guests also receive the Kronplatz Guest Pass free of charge: It grants free travel on all public regional transport in South Tyrol, free or discounted participation in activities and other benefits.
