A beautiful place with very courteous and friendly staff. It's a shame about the screaming children who roam everywhere, unsupervised by their incompetent and rude parents who have no respect for others. The spa and relaxation area is beautiful, with three pools, none of which are dedicated to relaxation or those seeking peace. The children are wild everywhere. I wouldn't recommend it for a relaxing break.

We spent a wonderful family vacation at the Hotel Fameli in mid-October 2025. We received a warm and friendly welcome right from check-in. Room: Clean, very spacious, and equipped with a whirlpool tub and modern bathroom. Service: Friendly and accommodating. The staff were especially great with the children. Food: Excellent breakfast buffet with a wide selection – there's truly something for everyone. For lunch, the kids had pasta or gnocchi – with a choice of pesto, Bolognese sauce, tomato sauce, or plain. In the afternoon, there was a snack with usually two different soups, fruit baskets, various cakes, and apple strudel. Top! The 4-course dinner menu was also excellent. There were three menus to choose from every evening: Mediterranean, South Tyrolean, and vegetarian, with individual courses available for individual combinations. There was also a salad and antipasti buffet. There was also a special 3-course dinner for children, but you could also simply order pasta or homemade gnocchi if the kids were more in the mood. The quality and taste were very good! Wellness: There were 3 pools in total, as well as a lovely sauna/wellness area for ages 16 and up, with a steam bath and two saunas – absolutely sufficient for us. One thing to keep in mind, though: There are, of course, many young and old bathers in the pool area, splashing around, singing, squealing, and laughing – anyone looking for (wellness) peace and quiet should be aware of that. Our daughter and we really enjoyed it, though. Other: Bicycles (including child seats) and a variety of strollers were available to rent free of charge and with no hassle. E-bikes are available for €25 per day. Great. A beautiful garden with various play equipment (including balance bikes, a teen corner with a ping-pong table, foosball, and seating), as well as the separate balance bike and tricycle area, were also a big hit with our little one. Although our daughter didn't visit the kids' club because we were busy ourselves, we were still able to meet some of the really nice childminders. The hotel offers a huge amount of activities, especially for children. There's a weekly program with various activities (pizza baking, crafts, rock painting, etc.) and sometimes even trips to farms, playgrounds, and much more. In the evenings, for example, there was a campfire with music and stick bread baking. Lunch and dinner are also available for the children at the kids' club. There are also several playgrounds within walking distance (the free children's area on the outskirts of Olang was especially great!). Conclusion: A clear recommendation for a wonderful family vacation!

We stayed at the Fameli Hotel at the end of September and, thanks to particularly favorable weather, we had a fantastic week. The spacious, clean, and quiet room, the common areas, the three swimming pools, one of which is pleasantly heated outdoors, and the large furnished garden are just some of the hotel's highlights. The rich and varied breakfast in the morning was always a pleasant start to the day, as was the delicious gourmet dinner in the evening, an excellent conclusion. The exquisite pastries for afternoon tea were a real treat. The staff at reception, in the breakfast rooms, and in the restaurant were always friendly and helpful; the hotel offers a variety of services, including the wellness and spa area, excursions, and bicycles for relaxing rides in the surrounding areas. A special mention, for a hotel dedicated to family vacations, goes to the Kids' Area, both for the games, indoor and outdoor entertainment, and the varied options offered to younger guests, including special menus for them to enjoy together, as well as for the friendly, knowledgeable, and dedicated staff. A sincere thank you to the Gasser family and all their staff; when we returned home, we left a piece of our hearts in Valdaora.

Nine of us stayed at the Fameli Hotel for five days in a spacious apartment. The welcome was warm and informative. Unlike at other hotels, the children are the focus here and don't get in the way. A fantastic children's area with supervision is available. Great and clean pools too. There's even a three-course meal for the kids every day! Bikes to ride and a lovely playground that's cleaned daily. Cleanliness is very important here anyway. But the adults don't miss out either. The breakfast... fantastic. The afternoon snacks were amazing, and the dinner was truly like a Michelin-starred restaurant. I truly speak from experience. The staff, from reception to service, were more than friendly. All of this, topped off with a fantastic price! Highly recommended. Please keep up the good work, Gasser family.

We spent a week at the Hotel Fameli in Olang (South Tyrol) – and it was a truly wonderful stay from the first day to the last! Rooms & Amenities We stayed in the Fameli Castle Suite – with its private roof terrace (hanging chair, sun lounger, table, chairs, clothes rack), it was simply a dream! Plus, a spacious bathroom with a Jacuzzi, separate shower, and plenty of space for the whole family. Our wish list in advance (e.g., choice of blankets, bathrobe sizes) was super practical and worked perfectly. Housekeeping was excellent; everything was spotlessly clean. Even with a dog (a Maltipoo puppy), it was absolutely hassle-free – the small cleaning fee is fair and reasonable. Service & Staff The team is always friendly, welcoming, and extremely flexible. There was always someone at the reception desk immediately available (German, Italian, English). What was especially great: Our two other children were spontaneously allowed to stay overnight – everything was organized immediately, without us having to say anything. Kids' Club & Program The supervision was simply fantastic. With a wristband system (whether you go alone or not), it's very well thought out. There was crafts, dancing, pizza baking, garden activities, and excursions – our children had a blast. Kudos to Pia (super-sensitive) and Chiara (who welcomed us warmly on the first evening and spoke English and Italian – absolutely no problem). Food & Bar The breakfast buffet was gigantic: an egg station, pancakes, crepes, fresh juices from a slow juicer, a large selection of bread, spreads, cheese, and even lactose-free butter and milk alternatives. At lunch, there was always a dish for the children (or alternatively, pasta/gnocchi), and in the afternoon, a snack with soup, bread, and a cake buffet. In the evening, there was a menu with three choices per course, plus a salad and pizza buffet. Everything was fresh, varied, and delicious – the children's dishes and ice cream freezer with toppings were also a highlight. Our waiter was super friendly and attentive, even though not everyone spoke perfect German. At the bar, Tea treated us to (non-alcoholic) cocktails – highly recommended! Spa & Pools The outdoor sky pool was our favorite spot – pleasantly warm, and at times we had it all to ourselves. There are additional pools inside (a Family Relax pool and a Family Fun pool). Those seeking peace and quiet will find it in the adults-only spa with saunas, a steam bath, and a relaxation area. I had several treatments with Marilena – incredibly relaxing and professional; I've rarely felt so refreshed. Conclusion: A warm and well-organized family hotel that truly thinks of everything. Whether with a dog or children – we have rarely felt so welcome. We'll definitely be back!

It was a wonderful vacation; the hotel is well-kept, clean, and offers a wide range of family-friendly amenities. The food was excellent, from the varied and complete breakfast buffet to the quick lunch, the truly delicious afternoon snack, and dinner... what can I say...you can choose from three menus... The pools are all beautiful and well-equipped. Kudos to you for organizing the excursions and the activities for children in the hotel, divided by age group. Congratulations, we'll definitely be back.

We had a wonderful family vacation. The food was very good. The service was always very friendly and helpful. The children loved the kids' club. Everything was always very clean. Many beautiful places and hikes are right on our doorstep. We had a fantastic vacation.
