High above everyday life, nestled in the mountains of the Dolomites, lies a special retreat: the Adults-Only Chalet Resort Zu Kirchwies. In a sunny, secluded location at 1,000 meters above sea level at the entrance to the Val Gardena, you will find exclusive chalets and lodges for two – each with a private whirlpool, its own sauna, and breathtaking views. Additionally, a heated outdoor pool invites you to relax and swim with a panorama. Here, less is more: peace, nature, and togetherness. The chalets combine alpine charm with modern design. Materials such as slate, reclaimed wood, and loden meet large glass fronts overlooking the valley and surrounding mountains. From the unique tree chalet to the forest villa – each hideaway is a lovingly crafted one-of-a-kind with its own character. The Reinhold Messner Chalet, furnished with personal items by the mountaineering legend.

Those who want to be active find hiking trails, mountain bike tours, and in winter direct access to the legendary Dolomiti Superski with over 1,200 km of slopes. A private shuttle service conveniently brings skiers to Gröden valley. Golf, tennis, paragliding, and helicopter flights round off the experience. Start your day as you wish: breakfast in the chalet, at the buffet, or with fresh bread roll service. In the evening, regional specialities and fine wines await you from the house bar and farm shop. Many ingredients – from Highland cattle meat to eggs and homemade dumplings – come from our own farm.
