Our family-run Pension Sunnhofer in Vilpian is surrounded by magnificent apple orchards and is located in the environs of Meran. From Easter to All Saints’ Day, we welcome you to our lovingly conducted house, which represents the perfect accommodation for hikers, cyclists and for who are looking for a quiet place to stay.

Our guests are offered 9 comfortable and recently refurbished rooms as well as 2 new comfort rooms with WLAN, satellite TV, balcony or terrace and safe. Moreover, we dispose of an inviting breakfast room, a private parking, a lockable garage for bicycles and a well-kept garden with heated outdoor swimming pool and sunbathing lawn.

Hikers may reach the Vilpian-Mölten ropeway in only 5 minutes, which brings you easily and rapidly on the Tschögglberg. Also for mountain bikers and cyclists, Vilpian is the place to be. The famous cycle path through apple orchards along the river Etsch directly passes by our Pension Sunnhofer. With pleasure, you may rent our own bikes for free. The small town Vilpian belongs to the wine village Terlan and is located exactly between the cities of Bozen and Meran. The famous spa town with its thermal baths, restaurants and shops is reachable in only 15 minutes by car. The environs of Vilpian benefit from a Mediterranean climate. Especially recommendable is a visit during the time of the apple blossoming and the asparagus season in spring. During the culinary delightful autumn, you may assist at the apple harvest, the grave harvest and the traditional “Törggelen”.
