Welcome to Garni Villa Tyrol*** in Meran!

Our Garni Villa Tyrol*** is characterised by a dreamlike central position in the middle of the spa city of Meran. The traditional and family-run B&B is the perfect choice for holidays in Meran and yet surrounded by greenery. Our villa dates back to the turn of the century and allows you to reach the most important sights, such as the thermal baths, various restaurants and cafés for culinary pleasures, the Meran spa promenade for strolling. Meran's city centre invites you to shop with numerous elegant shops.

Breakfast on the terrace & garden with pool

Our historic urban villa offers lovingly designed and elegant single and double rooms, with shower/WC, hairdryer, LCD satellite TV, a minibar and a safe. An elevator is also available so that you can comfortably reach the upper floors. In the morning, we serve a breakfast buffet or an Italian breakfast with cappuccino, coffee or tea, croissant and orange juice, in our breakfast room or on our sun terrace. The view over the garden park is wonderful. The heated outdoor pool with massage jets, our terrace and Mediterranean plants ensure relaxing moments. Here, we also serve refreshing drinks in the afternoon.

Central location in Meran

Holidays in Meran and environs are a special experience at any season of the year. From our Garni Villa Tyrol, you can reach the city centre within a few minutes via a wonderful promenade. The environs countless outdoor activities. The bus stop nearby our B&B allows you to reach the lift facilities, taking you to the peaks around Meran easily and comfortably. For guests arriving with their own car or motorbike, there is an on-site car park.

A beautiful, sweet little hotel. Very tastefully renovated. Run with love by the owner. We felt very comfortable. Very clean, friendly, and attentive. The location is excellent. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended if you want a quiet and comfortable stay. Very centrally located.

Four of us stayed here as friends from September 6th to 8th. It was a good hotel, and the manager was very nice and always helpful. The rooms were great, and the mattresses were good. Everything was always clean. We will be back. Thank you.

Romantic villa hotel within easy walking distance of Merano city centre and the river. Views of the mountains, the Alps, from the swimming pool. Beautiful garden. We had a small balcony, which is recommended. Room nice and clean. Good breakfast and really good coffee. The nearby restaurant, Alpin Curry, is good, mentioned in the Michelin guide.
PS - wifi: Here, as elsewhere, there are two bands to connect to - 5 and 2.4.
5 is powerful but with short range.
2.4 is less powerful, but sufficient for general use, but with long range.
Therefore always connect to 2.4 - then there is a signal in the room, the restaurant, in the garden, etc.

My stay at the Garni Villa Tyrol from July 27, 2024, to August 3, 2024, was simply fantastic! This beautiful, historic villa, built in 1888, exudes a special charm that immediately captivated me. The location on Via 30 April in the heart of Merano is ideal – you're in the heart of the city yet surrounded by a magnificent Mediterranean garden that offers absolute peace and relaxation.

The villa is lovingly run by Targa Marion, and you can feel this in every detail. The breakfast was excellent, featuring fresh, regional products, and the ambiance of the bed and breakfast is small, refined, and very welcoming. I was particularly impressed by the history of the villa, which has been family-owned since the 1960s and has always been managed with care and dedication.

The proximity to the city center is another plus – I could easily reach the sights, the thermal baths, and many charming cafés and restaurants on foot. The Mediterranean flair and the cozy seating in the garden delighted me every day.

I can recommend Villa Tyrol to anyone looking for an unforgettable vacation in Merano. I'll definitely be back!

I love Villa Tyrol and have enjoyed coming back for many years. The owner, Marion, is very accommodating and creates a sophisticated atmosphere. I always feel like I'm staying with friends. The rooms are beautiful, the garden and pool are a dream, the breakfast is delicious, the location couldn't be better; nothing is left to be desired. My next stay at Villa Tyrol is coming up, and I'm already looking forward to it.
