Welcome to the Residence Aqualis in Marling!

The Residence Aqualis in Marling is situated on a delightfully sunny hillside and offers a scenic panoramic view on Meran and its surroundings. Our inviting house in the Meran region is all about relaxation and water. The delicate sound of the stream in front of our house will accompany you and the panoramic pool with new sun terrace will provide pleasant refreshment. The name “Aqualis” is of Latin origin and means “water course”.

A place for the senses

Our spacious holiday apartments for up to 8 guests offer a lot of freedom for you and your family at all seasons. At the Residence Aqualis, can enjoy our rich breakfast buffet in the morning. The apartments are designed in a very bright and inviting way and offer all modern conveniences for small and bigger guests as well as a terrace or a balcony. A special highlight is our indoor swimming pool as well as the new panoramic outdoor pool with sun terrace and a panoramic view on the Meran region. You will also be able to experience the warm glow of our Finnish sauna. Sauna towels will be available at your apartment.

The Residence Aqualis is the ideal starting point for hiking tours along the characteristic water channels and to the mountains, cycling trips or an unforgettable winter vacation. Thanks to numerous family-friendly hiking paths as well as an exciting active programme by the tourist association, families will surely get their money’s worth in Marling. You should also not miss out on an excursion to the lovely spa town of Meran, with its thermal springs, the botanical garden, shops and restaurants.

Actually, you shouldn't award any stars at all. There's a risk that many people would then hear that it's the best hotel in the area, and you won't find a free room the next time you stay. Thank you for the excellent service, the beautiful rooms, the heated outdoor pool, the large terrace with the most beautiful view of Merano and the mountains – another perfect vacation.

Very well-maintained, modern hotel complex with a sauna, infinity pool, elevator, and underground parking. Staff available within minutes at any time. Breakfast buffet with regional and national specialties. A wide selection of cereals. Beautiful view from the balcony, located directly on the Marlinger Waalweg (Waal Path). Unfortunately, the complex is only partially accessible. The sauna and pool are not wheelchair accessible. This is the perfect place to spend the night after a day of hiking! Many well-marked hiking trails with great views are located around the hotel. Along the Marlinger Waalweg (Waal Path), there are countless wine taverns where you can enjoy regional, homemade South Tyrolean specialties. I also think I heard a dog in the house.

A beautiful place with a very welcoming host family. The breakfast is extensive and of very good quality. Fresh fruit and everything else you could wish for. In good weather, breakfast can be enjoyed on the terrace with a stunning panorama. The hotel has its own small swimming pool, sauna, and a sunny, flat lawn. The rooms are equipped with a small cooking area. A large private terrace in front of the room has a table and sun loungers for sunbathing. Modern underground parking with the option to charge your electric car (230V socket and high-voltage current, no wallbox as of June 2024) (Tesla would provide one free of charge) for a small fee. Location: In the upper third of a steep, narrow cul-de-sac, therefore very little traffic, only hikers.

A wonderful hotel with excellent service, a personal touch, and spacious and well-equipped rooms. A very nice pool, a delicious and varied breakfast, and great views of Merano and the mountains, as well as spacious balconies and terraces.

Everything is perfect here. If you have a problem with mountain roads, you should take a closer look. But the location is simply fantastic. The hotel family is also very hospitable. We would love to come back!!!

It's a very nice hotel, with a great breakfast, spacious rooms, and a comfortable bed. It offers a great view over Merano and is a good starting point for many activities and excursions.

Great view. Right on the Marlinger Waalweg (Waalweg). A wonderful new indoor/outdoor pool. One star deducted only because you need to be a good walker. It's a 1.1 km climb from the village. Dogs welcome.

A very beautiful, quiet complex right on the mountain. The single room was functional and well-equipped. The bed was very comfortable; if you wish, you can wake up in bed with the rising sun. The location and view from the balcony, terrace, and pool are magnificent. Swimming into the sunrise... is truly extraordinary. The pool was 32 degrees Celsius. Generous and personalized breakfast. The underground parking garage was easily accessible. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Our (extra) requests were promptly fulfilled.

A place you'll want to visit again and again. Aside from the beautiful scenery, the family-run hotel offers a pleasant atmosphere with lovely rooms and wonderful views. It's an ideal location for exploring this part of South Tyrol.
