During your holidays at Hotel Am Wolfsgrubenersee *** s on the lake Wolfsgrubner in Ritten, you can spend unforgettable days surrounded by nature and with beautiful views of the Dolomites. Our hotel is located directly on the shore of the small lake. It offers cosy rooms and suites equipped with flat-screen TV, Wi-Fi, wall safe and bath bag, some also with minibar, seating area and balcony.

Wellness Oasis with Private Beach

Our wellness area is a spacious oasis of well-being with an indoor pool including a whirlpool and sauna area with Finnish sauna, herbal sauna, steam bath, solarium, Kneipp foot bath and sensory shower. The relaxation zone with an inside and outside area offers a unique view of the lake and access to the private beach with sunbathing lawn. The Wolfsgruben Lake is a natural swimming lake offering fantastic views of the surrounding landscape.

Culinary Delights with a View

In the morning, the days begin with a tasty and nutritious breakfast. On request, we also serve lunch at the restaurant or on the terrace overlooking the lake. In the evening, however, awaits you a 4-course menu and fresh salad buffet.

We returned to the Wolfsgrubenersee Hotel this weekend, and as on other occasions, we found kindness, courtesy, spacious, welcoming, and clean rooms, nestled in the fantastic setting of these beautiful places. Dinner and breakfast were, as usual, superb. The couples of friends we brought with us were truly satisfied. Congratulations again. Goodbye!

The location is perfect for switching off and relaxing. Even in mixed weather, we were able to go hiking or take a quick cable car ride to Bolzano. The Rittenbahn cable car runs every 30 minutes and can be reached in 10 minutes. The hosts and staff are very friendly and helpful. The food leaves nothing to be desired. After 10 days, we are thoroughly rested. The pool and sauna are also very well maintained.

We got the last room through a booking portal, even though the hotel seems to be fully booked. My wife was worried we wouldn't have a balcony...
But her fears were unfounded: First floor with a balcony, directly overlooking the lake, fantastic...!!!
Our room was still dominated by dark brown wood in the 80s style, but the bathroom was brand new with a nearly walk-in shower! Everything was very well-maintained and absolutely clean!
And the breakfast and dinner were amazing, as you'd expect from South Tyrol! Truly delicious, varied, and plentiful!
The owners were always very friendly and helpful! The same goes for the rest of the staff! Thank you all!
And they only charged €8 per night for our dog, which I think is absolutely fair.
It may have been our first visit to the hotel on Lake Waldgruben, but certainly not the last!!! Highly recommended, all thumbs up!!!

The location of the hotel is superb, the staff and owners are very kind and helpful. Dogs are more than welcome. The food is also excellent. A place of excellence from every point of view.

It was a wonderful, relaxing long weekend. A stunning setting, the breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired. The dinner was also indescribably delicious. The owners and staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was nice and clean, with a balcony overlooking the lake. The indoor pool was beautiful, but it was also perfect for a morning swim in the lake. There are great hiking opportunities nearby.

A very nice hotel in a stunning landscape, with both modern and slightly older areas. The room with a lake view was well-kept and clean. The vegetable buffet, breakfast, and indoor pool were good. The only downside was dinner. The dishes offered were unsuitable for a hotel in the Tyrol, and sometimes the wrong ones. All in all, it was a positive experience.
