Our hotel offers cosy rooms, recently renovated spaces such as reception, lounge and bar. The main building of the Hotel Edelweiss also offers a traditional “stube” and dining rooms and a large, sunny terrace, where you can spend pleasant hours. In addition to traditional rooms, we also offer the opportunity to stay in one of the suite chalets, where you seem to be in an ancient mountain village, but without having to give up all the comforts and the most modern facilities. Among the huts you can also find a spa with showers, saunas and relaxation lounge with terrace on the lake, steam bath, infrared sauna, outdoor whirlpool and vital corner with tea and fresh fruit.

You can make beautiful hikes, starting directly from our hotel, go around the lake for a hike, skiing on the slopes of Schnalstal and visit the ArcheoParc of Ötzi, the legendary snowman.

We stopped there after a hike. Delicious schnitzel. Super friendly service. Very nice and a great location with a view of the lake and mountains. Reasonable prices. Dogs welcome. We'll definitely be back.

The hotel enjoys a magnificent location overlooking Lake Vernago, truly spectacular and romantic! Tranquility and silence reign supreme, surrounded by splendid natural landscapes, allowing for complete relaxation. The chalet we stayed in is extremely spacious and functional. Breakfast and dinner are served in the main building of the hotel, just a few meters away on foot. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. The restaurant's quality is decent, and while it offers some excellent dishes (especially meat dishes like goulash or pork ribs), its menu is decidedly geared toward German tourists and therefore less appealing to Italian palates. Another small flaw is the lack of room service for dinner: even in one particular situation (illness that forced me to stay in the chalet one evening), we were forced to go to the restaurant to pick up and return the tray. One would expect a 4-star hotel to be more capable of handling unexpected situations.

This hotel is simply fantastic. From the food to the wellness area, everything was perfect. The cuisine is truly exceptional. The staff, as well as the owner, Martin, were extremely friendly and welcoming. The wellness area isn't exactly the largest, but it's perfectly adequate and very relaxing. I couldn't fault it. If you're looking for a relatively small hotel that's simply fantastic and has a fantastic view, this is the place for you.

We stayed at the Hotel & Chalet Edelweiss for three days and two nights and felt completely at home from the very first moment. Our suite with a lake view was stunningly beautiful – spacious, stylishly furnished, with a modern, well-equipped bathroom and a practical separate toilet. We particularly enjoyed the fantastic view – simply a place to unwind and enjoy. In the evening, there was a 5-course menu with a choice of three main courses. The food was of very high quality on both evenings, freshly prepared, and made with noticeably high-quality ingredients. A huge compliment to the entire team – everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Our host, Martin, in particular, creates a very personal and welcoming atmosphere with his open, pleasant manner. We highly recommend the Hotel & Chalet Edelweiss – and would love to come back!

Lakefront hotel. I stayed here for two nights and couldn't find any negatives. The lobby is beautiful, all in wood. The staff is very kind and attentive. The room is beautiful, comfortable, and very clean. The food is excellent. The spa is also very nice, and there's a hot tub with a view of the mountains.

My husband and I spent a weekend at the Hotel & Chalet Edelweiss. Everything was perfect! The reception was very nice and welcoming, the staff was super friendly and professional. The restaurant was stylishly and carefully decorated, the cuisine was top-notch, with delicious dishes, carefully prepared and beautifully presented. I'm gluten-free, and they accommodated my intolerance very well. We were in a lake view suite: a beautiful room overlooking the lake that was truly worth it. The chalets we saw from the outside were also very beautiful. The spa was well-maintained and had everything you need. Congratulations to the owner and all the staff!
