We recently stayed at the Hotel Castel. It was a lovely holiday. We received a very friendly welcome. The hotel is very clean and comfortably furnished. The location is perfect for hikes and excursions to Bolzano and Bressanone. The food was delicious, and the service (especially David) was excellent. The wellness area is very nice. It's a bit of a shame that the sauna isn't open until 4 p.m. on rainy days; perhaps this could be improved. We'd love to come back.

First time in Castelrotto and at the Hotel Castel Oswald...an excellent experience and a welcoming and hospitable atmosphere. The Rier family is extremely kind, and Mrs. Gabriella is always available. The comfortable suite on the third floor...very comfortable and with a spectacular balcony. Exceptional cuisine from breakfast to dinner...with meticulous attention to detail and selection. A warm and friendly atmosphere...an excellent location just minutes from the town. Nothing to complain about. Very convenient for excursions in the area. TOP

We returned to spend our holidays in Castelrotto at this hotel again this year. We were welcomed with the usual discreet kindness by the Rier family and all the staff. Just a few minutes' walk from the center, the hotel features meticulously maintained interiors and exteriors. The rooftop solarium offers a stunning view of the Sciliar, the symbol of South Tyrol, and the surrounding meadows. The garden is expansive and relaxing. The food is varied and excellent. Dinner on the Ferragosto holiday evening was accompanied by live music. Stays at Castelrotto are guaranteed to be relaxing, and we always want to return. Thank you, Rier family.

First week of August at Oswald Castle...a taste of home. We were returning to the Alpe di Siusi after touring everywhere in Trentino and Alto Adige. We found the area to be more organized and with more accommodations.
