Mountain Hotel Mezdì

We were there over the weekend and will definitely be back. Great room, fantastic room, and a truly amazing dinner. The icing on the cake is the truly fantastic spa area... what more can I say...

One of the best

I would say this is a good hotel, but not great. Especially for the price, I was expecting just a little more attentiveness. They have some parking spaces out front that are free, otherwise for private parking there is a charge. We were happy that we were able to get a free spot. Entering the hotel, the receptionist wasn’t there and we had to wait for someone to come to the desk for them to just give us a piece of paper with all the info without explaining anything or asking us about our stay to make it more personal. The hotel and room are very clean, but our shower room had a very strong smell of bleach which took a day to clear up. They offer bath robes and flip flops which is handy for the pool. From the balcony, you get and excellent view of the dolomites. If you are a light sleeper, keep the door closed as the hotel is on a busy road. The hotel is very warm so it’s best to keep the door open to feel more comfortable. It was a nice gesture to find dog bowls and some treats in the room for our dogs. We paid €25 per dog per night. It was a little inconvenient is that there isn’t an area for them to do their business, and when we asked the front desk if there is a suitable place, she only told us where not to go. The breakfast and dinner are pretty good here, not wow good but pretty good. The waiter is too quirky and the jokes are too much for my taste. He seemed a little annoyed when we said we won’t be there for dinner the next night as we were heading somewhere else. Instead of wishing us a good time, he just walked away without saying a word. Something to note is that reception is not 24/7. You won’t see anyone downstairs after 11pm. The pool and gym facilities close at 19:00pm which seems to be too early? Overall it was a pleasant stay, but I was expecting the staff to be a bit more attentive and give their guests a bit more time given the price point.

We are delighted with our decision to spend our vacation here. The loving preparation of the exceptionally delicious food has always been a delight. Always a taste experience with very high-quality ingredients. The service is very attentive to guests, with a very caring attitude and attention. The rooms are furnished with very high-quality materials and are very clean. Guests' needs are always catered to when they have questions or recommendations for hiking routes. The attention to detail is evident in every area. We have the impression that the staff here is valued by the owners, as their genuine commitment and attentiveness to guests is palpable. The hotel was a good size, with super welcoming staff who were available for every need. Our suite was beautiful, spacious, and clean. We had dinner at the hotel, and I must say the food was delicious and beautifully presented, even the eye-catching dishes were impressive. Breakfast was no exception. The wait staff was truly excellent, especially the brunette lady who was managing our table; if I remember correctly, her name is Maria. Thank you. The small but very well-maintained wellness center offers absolutely everything you could possibly need, and the large outdoor whirlpool with a mountain view was a real treat. Let's just say our weekend was wonderful. Thank you.

Good experience. The dessert buffet wasn't the best; the desserts tasted cheap...the portions were small.

A superb experience in a top-class Dolomite setting. The facility is meticulously maintained, and the staff is professional and friendly. The location is ideal for excursions of all levels, from simple walks to via ferratas, mountaineering routes, or cycling tours of the various mountain passes.

A structure lovingly managed by the Rudifera family in Colfosco, in an excellent location between the Gardena Pass and Corvara, reachable with a lovely walk; our very comfortable room with a view of the Sella, wellness centre and outdoor whirlpool with a view of the Val Mezdi and the unparalleled sunset over the Gardena Pass.

Everything was truly fantastic, from the quaint village of Colfosco, at the foot of the Sella Pass, to the hotel itself: beautiful, well-maintained, and clean. The amenities are exceptional: a gorgeous mosaic pool, a spa with a Turkish bath, whirlpool, relaxation room, sauna, and even an infrared sauna. The food is excellent, both at dinner and at breakfast, where the selection is truly vast. Finally, for the first time, I even found an honesty bar: a detail I greatly appreciated.
