In our family-run guesthouse, located in the middle of orchards, you’ll find comfortable rooms, which are furnished with loving care and equipped with TV, shower, toilet and balcony. Our well-tended garden with heated pool is perfect for relaxing. A rich breakfast buffet with home-made and local specialities makes your stay perfect.

Which season you ever choose for your visit, the environs of Pension Sandhofer provide different sports and leisure time activities for any taste: from cycle paths and extended hikes to sightseeing and shopping in Meran and Bozen. We are happy to recommend the most beautiful tours and also offer mountain bikes, city bikes and e-bikes for hire, as well as a garage for bicycles and motorcycles.

We were there for the first time in the summer of 2025. I gave the room one less star ️ because it was on the top floor. The accommodation had a pool, a lawn, and sun loungers, and the surroundings were very beautiful. We had a cycling and hiking holiday. I was disappointed on the first day, but only on the second day did I realize how wonderful and beautiful the area is, with its many orchards. It's about 20 km to Bolzano and 17 km to Merano, easily accessible by bike or on foot Great bike paths; we covered over 500 km in total. Very nice hosts; we could park and charge our bikes in the garage. Breakfast was great and varied, and in good weather, we always ate it outside. ... There are three restaurants nearby that we can recommend, but you should book in advance (all within walking distance). One is a 2-minute walk, the others are about 10-15 minutes away. There's a supermarket about 10 minutes away with normal prices. There's a small general store about 3 minutes away, but it's expensive. We also recommend the ice cream parlor in town, about 15 minutes away. The taste, price, and quality are excellent! We felt very comfortable there, so we're going back in the summer of 2026, this time by motorcycle.

Very nice, helpful, and friendly hosts. Always ready to listen to questions and requests. Adequate and varied breakfast. Very well-maintained grounds with heated pool, sun loungers, and a bar.

We really enjoyed our stay with the Pichler family; we had a great time and felt at home. The guesthouse is very clean, and the breakfast is excellent, with fresh produce daily. Mr. and Mrs. Pichler are very nice, always helpful, and always have good tips if you have a question. The garden is beautifully landscaped and the swimming pool is great too. We'll be back. Beautiful guesthouse with lovely rooms. Incredibly kind and caring owners who do everything they can to make your stay fantastic. The pool is also fantastic, and the guesthouse is surrounded by an abundance of fruit trees.
