In the middle of the hotel's own 10-hectare garden and park, our family-run Hotel Royal Hinterhuber**** in Reischach near Bruneck offers generous comfort for perfect relaxation and enjoyment. The Kronplatz ski and adventure mountain is just 1 km from the hotel, and the historic town centre of Bruneck is also within easy reach. A variety-packed holiday awaits you here, between peaceful enjoyment of nature, sporting adventures and cultural highlights in the Dolomites Region Kronplatz.

Our stylish and cosy rooms and suites all have a balcony and are comfortably equipped with WLAN, satellite TV with flat screen, safe, minibar, modern bathroom with bidet and hairdryer and more. Panoramic indoor pool and whirlpool, sauna area and (in summer) outdoor pool, relaxation room & spa lounge - in the wellness oasis of the Hotel Royal Hinterhuber there are many beautiful places to relax and treatments are also on offer. Our 3/4 board delights with a breakfast buffet, an afternoon snack from our patisserie and a gourmet dinner.

Active holidays in summer & winter

Our guests can start out on hikes and bike tours directly from the hotel. E-bikes are available to rent from us and there are trails of varying degrees of difficulty to choose from in the Kronplatz Bike Park. The Hotel Royal Hinterhuber has its own tennis court and a padel court. For our guests, there is also a free green fee at the 9-hole golf course of the Golf Club Pustertal. In winter, our free ski shuttle takes you to the valley station at Kronplatz and to the cross-country ski trail in the sports zone of Reischach in just a few minutes. As a free holiday bonus, our guests receive the Kronplatz Guest Pass with free use of regional public transport throughout South Tyrol and many other benefits.

The breakfast buffet, with fresh fruit and everything else one could wish for, was of a quality and quantity I have never experienced anywhere else. Dinner was also outstanding! I can't think of a single thing to complain about and will definitely come back!

Service was very good. Valentino and Giuseppe deserve special mention. They were very helpful and child-friendly. We were there as a family. In warm summer temperatures, you can use the outdoor pool. Fantastic. Playground, tennis, and paddle tennis. Small fitness room. The food was very tasty. Advice regarding hikes and excursions was excellent. We'll be back.

The Hinterhuber family, with their competent and friendly staff, knows how to run the hotel with great enthusiasm and warmth. Excellent advice on hiking suggestions is available at reception. The table service, in our case Simon, is always friendly and up for a joke. Dinner can also be reserved quickly upon request. This is our third time here and we feel very welcome. Many of the staff have been here for many, many years. That speaks for itself! The location is very quiet and idyllic. The rooms are very clean and recently renovated. The food leaves nothing to be desired. There's even a lunchtime snack, both sweet and savory. The indoor pool is very large and imaginatively designed. The outdoor pool is very large and has a very large sunbathing lawn. There's also a small playground for children. Conclusion: We love coming here. This hotel has grown on us.

A wonderful vacation in the Pustertal Valley is over. I highly recommend the Royal Hinterhuber in Reischach. A hotel where friendliness is paramount – something you want on every vacation. The breakfast and dinner left nothing to be desired. The location was perfect for us – it's wonderfully quiet here, yet you can reach beautiful Bruneck in just a few minutes by car. We brought our e-bike with us – a dream with these fantastic bike paths.

We had a wonderful and relaxing holiday. From the very first moment, we felt welcome; everything was very clean. The room was magnificent, and breakfast and dinner were culinary highlights. The spa area and the heated outdoor pool were simply fantastic. We did a lot of cycling and hiking in the surrounding area and received many great tips from the hotel. The hotel is highly recommended, and we would gladly return.

We spent wonderful days at this beautiful hotel. The staff throughout the hotel were very friendly, very helpful (they gave us great tips for our hiking tours), and very service-oriented. We really enjoyed both the wellness area (including soothing massages) and the outdoor area with the large pool. The same goes for the food: plenty of variety and almost always delicious. A thoroughly recommended hotel!

It is considered one of the oldest hotels in the region, and kings and several famous sports clubs have lived in it. I stayed there for 4 nights in a deluxe room with a balcony. The room was excellent and spacious, and the balcony had a beautiful view. There is no air conditioning, and my visit was in August 2025, but the atmosphere was cold in the evening. The hotel is close to Bruneck, which is considered a suitable center for launching events in northern Italy. The hotel reception staff are cheerful and helpful. My reservation was with breakfast, and the breakfast was fresh and delicious, although it was almost the same items every day, but it did not bore you. The restaurant staff, especially the men, were very kind and helpful with us, and I would like to thank them very much for their kindness. The hotel has a beautiful garden, tennis and paddle courts, an outdoor swimming pool, children's games, a spa area, and an indoor swimming pool.
