Whether in summer or in winter, sportsmen, culture lovers or guests in search of peace and quiet – in Lana near Meran everybody feels at ease. Due to the cordial hospitality, the very pleasant ambiance and the varied possibilities for your leisure time, a stay at B&B Pension Hilpold*** is a delightful experience.

Comfortable rooms with excellent breakfast

For our guests, refurbished and newly designed rooms with a balcony or terrace, shower, WC, telephone, safe, WLAN and flat TV as well as bio Aloe Vera mattresses with sheepskin cover. For the new furnishings of our rooms, we have used natural materials such as pine wood, oak wood and wool. Pets are allowed. For a perfect start to the day, we provide you every morning a rich breakfast buffet. Enjoy a coffee or an aperitif on our terrace from afternoon to evening.

A varied holiday in every season

During the warm season, mountaineers and hikers find countless possibilities in the region of Meran and environs – from scenic walks to challenging mountain tours. After a long hiking tour, nothing is more relaxing than our small but wonderful outdoor pool. In winter, you can enjoy the beauty of the snow-covered landscape.

This was our second time staying at Pension Hilpolt in Lana for a professional development course – and once again, it was absolutely perfect.

The owners are incredibly warm and helpful, and they take such good care of their guests that you immediately feel welcome and well looked after.

The rooms are cozy, the beds comfortable, and everything is spotlessly clean. The warm, family atmosphere is particularly noteworthy, making the stay incredibly pleasant.

The breakfast is also excellent – ​​there's everything you could wish for: regional products like sausage, cheese, and jams, fresh fruit, muesli, yogurt, juices, rolls, and pastries.

All in all, we had another wonderful stay. We will definitely be back and can wholeheartedly recommend Pension Hilpolt!

A lovely guesthouse with super-friendly, all-round service from the whole family. A well-maintained house with beautiful rooms, a great location, quiet, and a wonderful view. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. If we come back to Lana, we'll definitely come back here!

I found myself in Lana and stayed at the Pension Hilpold for 3 lovely nights. The team here are so lovely and it felt like staying with family in a great way. As a solo traveller all the way from Australia  this was very welcome.

They are so helpful with local knowledge and the rooms are lovely and very clean. The breakfast is wonderful too as is the amazing view!

We stayed here for a multi-day hiking holiday.
Very nice, clean, and new rooms, as well as the bathrooms.
All three of us had a balcony with a table and chairs.
Breakfast was simple (which doesn't mean limited selection) but absolutely sufficient, with decent coffee and a variety of breads. In the morning, there's always a flyer with the weather, excursion tips, etc.
Very intimate atmosphere.
The only criticism: the room doors are quite thin, but since the other guests were sensible, this didn't matter.
The bus line is within walking distance, and you can walk into town in 15-20 minutes.
So: Recommended

The guesthouse is very family-run, beautiful, and clean. The hosts are very helpful, friendly, and always available to answer questions, including those about things to do and insider tips for dining around Bolzano, Bressanone, and Merano. The rooms are very nice, spacious, and smell wonderfully of Swiss pine. The view of the mountains from the room is unique, and it's very quiet. The breakfast is excellent, plentiful, and there's something for everyone, regional and fresh, for vegans, vegetarians, and fish lovers.

The breakfast terrace is very nice and cozy, and there's even a great pool with a view :-)

I've been coming here for years!
It always feels like "coming home"! Everyone is super nice, helpful, and friendly. Unfortunately, only B&Bs are available! Pool in the garden with plenty of sun loungers! I'll definitely be back! :-))
