Winter & hiking paradise

In winter, our position very close to the piste is a great advantage for your holidays: You can leave your car in our underground car park for the entire period, as it is only a three to four-minute walk to the piste from our hotel. In summer, you can get to know our valley best on hikes and walks: let yourself be enchanted by the impressive nature and then enjoy the pampering ambience at the Berghotel Ratschings!

In our wellness area, you can enjoy a world of lightness and well-being. Here, you will quickly forget the worries of everyday life and can really relax. As I have often done before, my mother and I are guests at the mountain hotel, either for lunch or in the evening when they offer the wonderful fish buffet. It's a shame you can't give it seven stars, because they certainly deserve them. Even after the renovation, the cozy atmosphere is still there. The attentive service from the staff and the host family is outstanding, the food is a 10/10 – what more can I say? Keep it up! This traditional establishment has maintained its high standards for years for good reason. We're already looking forward to our next visit.

We had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel—my wife, I, and our 10-month-old baby. We were pampered from start to finish. The spa, restaurant, cleanliness, and location were all top-notch. The staff is exceptional, both professionally and personally. We especially loved Vera, and were very sorry not to be able to greet her in person. We'll definitely be back!

Superb hotel with a lovely spa area. In the evenings, there's a choice of menus (two sets of five courses each), and the food is simply fantastic. Extensive wine list at reasonable prices.

The new Berghotel is a beautiful hotel (I've been coming here for 40 years). The lovely warm colors and modern furnishings make you feel at home. Both breakfast and dinner lack nothing. The wellness and bar areas are also inviting. The surroundings and nature are wonderful. The proximity to the ski lift is also very good. The entire Berghotel team and the Rainer-Schölzhorn family are fantastic, professional, and fulfill almost every wish. We would love to come back.

Besides the excellent food and outstanding service, the mattresses were the best we've ever stayed in a hotel – simply superb! Update: Five years later, still absolutely true!
