Modernly furnished holiday apartment in a great location.

We spent twelve wonderful days at Haus Schnitzer and felt right at home from the very first moment. Our holiday apartment, Weide, was modern, beautifully furnished, and superbly equipped, and the large terrace surrounding the apartment was simply fantastic. Sitting outside with coffee in the mornings, gazing at the Texel Group and towards the Vinschgau Valley and the Ortler Alps – we will truly miss that view. Mrs. Schnitzer is an incredibly warm and welcoming host and was always available for us. You can tell that it's important to her that her guests feel comfortable. For us, Rabland was also the perfect base. We cycled along the Adige Valley Cycle Path on e-bikes, visited Merano, went to the Partschins Waterfall, took the cable car up into the mountains, and discovered many beautiful spots in the surrounding area. At the same time, the terrace was a wonderful place to simply relax and enjoy the view. We returned home with many wonderful memories and wholeheartedly recommend Haus Schnitzer. We had a truly wonderful time with the Schnitzer family! The vacation rental is beautifully equipped, especially the kitchen. Everything is lovingly arranged, well-thought-out, and well-maintained—and everything works perfectly. The bed is very comfortable and not saggy. The bathroom is new, and you can tell that the hosts place a high priority on cleanliness. There’s plenty of storage space in the bathroom, lots of hooks, and a large cabinet. There’s even a small shoe rack for hiking boots in the stairwell. We especially liked the balcony with its seating area, lounge chairs, awning, and a clothesline. Every time you walk into the apartment, it smells wonderfully of Swiss stone pine. Ms. Schnitzer provided us with suggestions for hikes, and thanks to her, we had unforgettable hiking experiences. Overall, the apartment is very quiet, though it’s located near a church tower. The apartment’s location couldn’t be better. It’s a 5–7-minute walk to the bus stop, a supermarket, a pharmacy, and a bank. We were able to park our car in the parking space assigned to the vacation rental. We were very happy about that, since parking is very limited. Picking up the keys on the day of arrival went smoothly, even though the hosts weren’t there at the time. We’d come back anytime. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. They pointed out brochures and apps to us. There was plenty of parking available. Everything was very neat and clean. The trash cans for recycling were available and clean.

The town is small and very well connected to the other towns in the valley. The apartment looked as if it had never been lived in: clean, well-organized, and equipped with a washing machine and dishwasher. There’s a beautiful terrace where a cool breeze always blows in the evening. The hostess was very kind and helpful; she gave us passes for public transportation and free admission to the nearby swimming pool. We had a wonderful time and hope to return as soon as possible.

You quickly return to everyday life, but the memories remain. Especially the good ones at the Schnitzer house. It was wonderful – Mrs. Schnitzer is very kind and hospitable. The Annemone apartment had everything you could need. You feel completely at home here...
