A very nice farm with everything you need, including for children, and very friendly hosts. We would love to come back.

We stayed there as a family, and it was a wonderful holiday. The hostess is very welcoming, and the location is absolutely idyllic. The stunning views from the terrace and the pool, stretching far down the valley to the Dolomites, were particularly beautiful and relaxing. The pony sometimes roams freely and can always be petted and groomed (though it's not really meant for riding). The vineyards are right next door. Lake Caldaro and Lake Monticolo are easily accessible by car, and the location is very strategic. Bolzano, Merano, and the Dolomites are also easily reachable by car for day trips. The apartment is functional and has everything you need. We had the largest one on the ground floor, which was pleasantly cool even in the height of summer.

Overall, we had a lovely 14-day stay. The apartment was clean and well-maintained. We especially appreciated being able to buy homemade jam, eggs, their own wine, apple juice, water, and bottled beer on-site. That was a great idea and we really enjoyed it. The hostess was also always friendly, helpful, and available to answer any questions. The farm is also lovely for children. There are chickens and the horse Blacky, who can even be groomed upon request. In the evenings, Blacky was regularly let out and strolled leisurely around the farmyard. It was quite special to sit on the terrace and watch him wander by. This added a special charm to the farm. What we found a bit difficult as a family were the very strict rules around the pool. Splashing and jumping were not allowed. Even we adults were reminded of this when we were playing with a small inflatable volleyball net and a soft ball. Of course, we adhered to all the rules and reminded our children repeatedly. Nevertheless, we often felt like we had to constantly restrain them. That's precisely why we found it disappointing, as the pool was a major reason why we booked this accommodation. A little more peace and quiet would have made the holiday even more enjoyable for families, in our opinion. Playing football was also prohibited. Thankfully, there was a school nearby where our children could go with a ball. The quiet hours were also enforced very strictly. Even if you were sitting quietly on the terrace after 10 pm, chatting while playing cards, you quickly felt the need to be especially quiet. Being considerate of other guests is a given for us, and we respected that. However, we personally felt the overall atmosphere was a bit tense as a result. The location of the farm is absolutely beautiful and idyllic! There's plenty to do in the surrounding area, including some delicious restaurants. We were happy to pay the tourist tax, of course. However, our accommodation didn't offer a guest card with potential discounts. That's naturally the hosts' decision, and perfectly fine. A brief heads-up beforehand would have been helpful, though, so we knew what to expect. The farm's location is absolutely stunning! Finally, we'd like to mention that we received a very warm farewell upon departure. We were even told we had been very pleasant guests. Therefore, this review is not intended as a complaint, but simply to give other families an honest impression. Those seeking a very peaceful holiday and who value clear rules will certainly feel comfortable here. Families with children should be aware, however, that great importance is placed on quiet and adherence to the house rules.

The owner was very kind. The apartment is well furnished, warm, and located in a quiet area surrounded by nature. The location is ideal for easy access to the slopes but also for visiting the city of Bolzano.

We stayed at the Heideggerhof and the experience was truly special. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with unparalleled kindness!!! The entire family made us feel immediately at ease, but a special thanks goes to the owner, Maria, who treated us as if we were part of her family. Her attentiveness, helpfulness, and smile made our stay even more enjoyable. The property is very charming, well-maintained, and immersed in a warm and authentic atmosphere. The apartments, simple yet welcoming, have a small terrace with a wonderful view of the surrounding vineyards and mountains: waking up to that view was a true gift. We had such a wonderful holiday at the Heideggerhof and can truly recommend it to everyone! A fantastic location (the farm itself, the surrounding area as a perfect starting point for hikes, and great restaurants nearby), cozy apartments, homemade wine/jam/..., pure warmth and hospitality. The Heideggerhof is a dream, not only for children, but especially for them; ours wouldn't want to go anywhere else. A playground on the property, Blacky the pony you can ride, chickens among the vines, a beautiful pool... But we felt the same way. After every hike, we were already looking forward to returning to the farm. Maria and her family are so kind and welcoming, always helpful and with great tips. We were interested, and they let us participate in the fruit harvest. Here, you simply feel like you're experiencing pure South Tyrol. Thank you so much, and we hope to see you soon!

We spent a wonderful week there with our little daughter. The animals were the highlight for her, both the chickens and the pony. There were two other families there, which was great for all the children (and parents). The pool is lovely and right next to the apartment. The landscape there is beautiful, and you can go hiking and take excursions. The apartment was well-equipped with everything you need, and most importantly, we even got a crib and high chair. Maria, the hostess, is super nice and takes care of everything you need. We were there in September, and there were always grapes and apples from the garden. We would love to come back.

We spent a wonderful holiday with our family at the Heiderhof in Kaltern. The location is stunning – amidst the vineyards, with a magnificent view of the surrounding area. We particularly appreciated the warm hospitality of our hosts, who were always there for us and gave us lots of great tips for excursions. The farm is ideal for children: plenty of space to play, animals to pet, and plenty of nature to explore. The apartment was also well-equipped, very clean, and comfortably furnished – you immediately feel at home. A perfect base for exploring the region around Lake Kaltern, going on hikes, or simply relaxing. We will definitely be back and can wholeheartedly recommend the Heiderhof – especially for families who want to enjoy peace, nature, and genuine South Tyrolean hospitality. Best wishes from Cologne
