Hotel Alpenfieden*** is situated in Meransen on the foot of the wonderful hiking and skiing area Gitschberg. This is the ideal place for families, nature friends and lovers of sports in the free nature. Our rooms are spacious, cosy and have a wonderful panoramic view on the surrounding mountain world.

Comfortable rooms, excellent cuisine and wellness

All rooms are furnished with bath, shower/WC, hair dryer, TV, phone, safe and panoramic terrace. Before you start in your ski day or to beautiful hiking tours refresh yourself with our delicious breakfast buffet. In the evening we love to spoil you with Mediterranean and Tyrolean dishes. Our Wellness oasis invites you to relax and recover. The swimming pool with whirlpool, the sauna, the steam bath and much more will offer you moments of relaxation.

Nature to experience in every season

In summer and in winter Meransen offers you many outdoor activities. Walking, mountain biking, playing tennis, swimming and much more is waiting for you. You will have fun on the ski slopes in the skiing area Gitschberg- Jochtal, which starts in front of our house.

My experience was in July 2025, access to the location was easy, the hotel has private parking, the room was clean and well-equipped, the reception is very friendly, my reservation included breakfast and what distinguishes them is that the breakfast table is allocated for you in advance with your name throughout the stay, the breakfast is varied and delicious, the room service is excellent, the price for the service is excellent, I noticed that the room is not air-conditioned, the view is beautiful from the top of the mountain on the green plains, what I liked is that the hotel is managed by a very friendly family, they try to provide you with everything you want, and explain to you the services and activities surrounding the hotel, I will repeat the experience with them in the future, I wish them success.

An all-around perfect stay at the Hotel Alpenfrieden in Maranza! From the moment you arrive, you feel warmly welcomed – the entire team is incredibly friendly and attentive. The rooms are comfortable, modern, and very clean, with stunning views of the mountains. The culinary offerings leave nothing to be desired: from the hearty breakfast to the dinner menu – simply delicious! The wellness offerings also invite you to relax, especially after an active day in the Dolomites. We have rarely felt so comfortable and will definitely be back. Absolutely recommended for anyone seeking relaxation, enjoyment, and warm hospitality!

A very nice hotel with a fantastic view of the mountains, delicious food, and excellent value for money, as well as clean and comfortable rooms. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming – highly recommended!

We stayed at this hotel and had a truly wonderful time. The property is welcoming, clean, and well-maintained, with staff who are always helpful and friendly. The pool is a real highlight: large, clean, and perfect for relaxing during the day. Breakfast was also plentiful and high-quality. Dinners were varied and always delicious. The only small issue to note is the proximity to a church with a bell tower, which can be heard in the morning, but it didn't detract from the overall experience. Overall, a pleasant stay that we definitely recommend!

Hotel favoloso posizionato in valle Aurina, perfetto per le famiglie ma anche per chi viaggia in gruppo. Collegato benissimo per chi come noi si spostava in bus, la fermata dell autobus è a pochissimi minuti dalla struttura. Invece per chi volesse raggiungere la location in auto dispone di un grande parcheggio sotterraneo custodito. Le camere si affacciano sulle Alpi regalando agli ospiti degli scenari spettacolari. Godersi la vista del tramonto sul terrazzo della propria camera gustando un buon bicchiere di vino non ha prezzo. Il cibo, qualcosa di unico. Ogni sera un menù differente, colazioni a buffet eccellenti, dal dolce al salato. Le camere molto confortevoli, per chi viaggia con gli animali con un piccolo extra il confort è garantito anche per i nostri amici a 4 zampe. L albergo dispone anche di piscina al coperto, Spa e vasca idromassaggio con acqua riscaldata all esterno. Consiglio vivamente questa struttura.
