Our Hotel Förstlerhof***s is located in a very quiet position in the picturesque village Burgstall on the bank of the river Etsch surrounded by numerous orchards. The main building and the dependence have been recently renovated and offer everything you need for a pleasant stay all year round.

Relax and enjoy in a family atmosphere

We offer our guests bright and comfortable rooms, a modern hall for seminars and congresses and an inviting restaurant with pizzeria and two traditional Tyrolean Stuben. Our Hotel Förstlerhof provides a garden with outdoor pool, sunbathing lawn and terrace. You can find pure relaxation in our new wellness area with steam bath, Finnish sauna, bio sauna, solarium and two indoor pools. From the wellness area you have direct access to the sunbathing lawn and the outdoor pool. For the entertainment of our little guests, we provide a children’s playground. New from 2025, we also offer apartments in the neighbouring building.

A wide ange of experiences in Meran and environs

Our house is the perfect starting point for numerous hiking and mountain bike tours for every level in the environs of Meran. The Golf Club Lana, the Golf Club Passeier.Meran, the horse racing track of Meran, the popular botanic gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle with its Touriseum, the beautiful spa town Meran and the ski- and hiking area Meran 2000 are only a few kilometres from our house away.

Many thanks to the hosts. The staff is very, very friendly, the food is excellent, and the prices are reasonable. A hotel I wholeheartedly recommend; I'd love to come back!

The venison fillet and veal fillet were truly amazing, and the side dishes were modest but plentiful and very good.

We went back the next evening to try the pizza...

A very welcoming hotel, strategically located for reaching Merano and many nearby attractions. The rooms are comfortable, spacious, and spotlessly clean, as is the rest of the property. The staff is top-notch, always available, from the reception to the bar and restaurant. The pools, both the outdoor and indoor, are also excellent. We've stayed there several times over the past few years and will definitely be back!
