Garden Park Hotel

Our stay at the Garden Park Hotel was absolutely perfect. We were pleasantly surprised upon arrival – we received a complimentary room upgrade, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The food was truly magnificent. There was a lavish appetizer buffet, followed by several delicious courses to choose from, and finally a generous dessert buffet. The breakfast buffet also left nothing to be desired. In addition, the hotel even offered a midday or afternoon snack with soups and small cakes – essentially three-quarter board. Culinary delights were truly exceptional. The spa area was also outstanding. The expansive outdoor area is enormous and certainly a highlight in the summer. We were particularly impressed by the long, heated outdoor pool, ideal for swimming laps. There's also an indoor pool, a work pool, two saunas – one with a stunning panoramic window – a steam room, and numerous comfortable chill-out lounges. Relaxing here is truly effortless. One slight drawback for us was the activity program: it only took place on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday – as did the sauna infusions. Since we were there on Saturday and Sunday, we unfortunately couldn't participate in any of the activities. Perhaps this is related to the off-season, but we're not entirely sure. However, this was the only aspect that wasn't quite ideal. All in all, we had a fantastic stay and can wholeheartedly recommend the Garden Park Hotel.

Stunning place, excellent location, and kind and friendly staff. The wellness area and spa were very beautiful and relaxing. The only downside was that the pool water was a bit cold, especially when the outside temperature dropped. I recommend stopping by the spa more often during peak hours to pick up dirty glasses from the herbal tea area, as they tend to pile up. As for the Alba room, it was gorgeous! I expected a larger welcome kit, as is standard for a 4-star hotel... soap, herbal tea to drink in your room, and so on. I recommend putting a sanitizing strip on the toilet, and a telephone in the wellness area for any eventuality. Breakfast was mostly savory; the only sweet options were buttery croissants and mini doughnuts. This, unfortunately, disappointed us. Overall, the location, the landscape, the hospitality, and the ambiance were excellent. Cleanliness was top-notch; kudos to the floor cleaners. The hotel also offers a billiards room, gym, children's area, and yoga classes. The shop is very nice, offering products like beach bags, stuffed animals, bathrobes, and slippers. Recommended vacation.

Other amenities: A modern fitness room is available for exercise. ️ Service & Ambiance Heartfelt Hospitality Service is a particularly outstanding feature of this family-run 4-star hotel: Attentive Staff: The staff are exceptionally friendly, courteous, and helpful. The family-run nature of the hotel contributes significantly to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. Rooms & Suites: The rooms and suites are elegant, bright, and spacious, often furnished with natural materials (Swiss pine, larch, and cherry wood). Most have a private balcony with views of the surrounding mountains or the beautifully landscaped park. Location & Grounds: The hotel enjoys a sunny and quiet location on the outskirts of Prad, surrounded by a pine forest and well-maintained gardens and parkland. It's the ideal starting point for activities in the Stelvio National Park. ️ Location & Extras: More than just wellness Included: The VinschgauCard (April-November) for free use of public transport and discounts is often included. Activities: Free rental of city bikes and mountain bikes. The region is perfect for hiking, biking, ski touring, and winter sports. Sustainability: The hotel is certified with the South Tyrol Sustainability Label – Level 1 and focuses on waste reduction and regional, seasonal products. Conclusion: The Garden Park Hotel fulfills all expectations of an upscale 4-star wellness hotel in the Vinschgau Valley. The combination of excellent cuisine, a comprehensive wellness program, and remarkably friendly service makes it a first-class destination for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday amidst the South Tyrolean mountains. It's an oasis of tranquility that delights both those seeking relaxation and active vacationers.

The vacation was lovely as always, but the service deteriorated in several areas. We didn't feel as comfortable as before, so we're now taking a break for a few years and considering whether we'll come back.

A very nice hotel with a great outdoor area and pools both indoors and outdoors. There's also a sauna and relaxation areas. Great service and excellent food. High quality and regional produce are combined here. E-bikes are available for rental. There's a lovely tour to Merano from the hotel. If the return trip is too strenuous, you can take the train back from Merano. The hotel was expanded and extensively renovated a few years ago. I felt very comfortable and would gladly return. My thanks go to all the hard-working service staff without whom none of this would be possible and who make the hotel what it is: a place to relax and enjoy yourself.

Location, wellness, pool, food top, the old rooms with carpet are cheaper, but ours had an unpleasant smell that we couldn't get rid of

Highly recommended! Excellent food and a beautiful location. An exceptionally beautiful and well-maintained park, plenty of loungers, lovely pools, very friendly and professional service, including at reception. A lovely wellness area. We would definitely come back!
