Welcome to Alpin-Hotel Gudrun in Gossensass!

Our recently renovated Hotel Gudrun*** in Gossensass is located in a central position in the middle of nature. The small village of Gossensass has a distance of only 4 km from the motorway entry and from the picturesque city of Sterzing. In our historical house, you can enjoy a dreamlike view of Stubai Glacier as well as perfect conditions for a relaxing holiday in the mountains.

Cosy ambience

For our guests, we offer comfortable rooms as well as junior and family suites that are equipped with any comfort. Thanks to the natural design of our more than 100 years old building, we offer a healthy living ambiance and a very special atmosphere. As well, we pamper our guests with our healthy cuisine rich in vitamins. The host himself prepares these varied dishes with much love and with seasonal products of the region.

Wellness & outdoor adventures

Relax in our garden and in the wellness area with indoor pool, bio sauna, Finnish sauna, herbal steam bath, infrared cabin, stone oasis, relaxation room, whirlpool and tea bar. A modern fitness room is available too. Our small guests will look forward to the playground and to the playroom. The Hotel Gudrun is a good starting point for hikes, bike tours and excursions. E-bikes are available for a small fee. In winter, the famous ski resorts Rosskopf, Ladurns and Ratschings are located only a few kilometers from our hotel.

We really appreciated the dedication, friendliness, and helpfulness that the owners and their team put into their work. The food was excellent, really very good, and if you wanted seconds, no problem. The location is great, a little outside the center but very easy to reach by public transport. We have been coming back for many years now and it never disappoints.

Very spacious room, comfortable beds, and spotlessly clean. We were allowed to bring our dog, which is always a bonus. The hotel's surroundings are beautiful, and the breakfast was excellent. The spa is also very nice, but keep in mind that this is a no-swimwear zone.

Small hotel, but comfortable and clean rooms. There's a small spa whose pool closes at 10:00 PM. Breakfast was truly delicious! Dinner was equally good, but I thought it would be something traditional, as described on the website. There's a small parking lot, but it's adequate for the hotel, so there's always a spot. The option of bringing your dog is very convenient. I'd only suggest a few activities from 8:00 PM onward, considering that's when dinner ends and, being a small town, there aren't any outside activities. The only flaws are the really thin and uncomfortable pillows and the early dinner time of 7:00 PM!

The view of the snow-capped Dolomite peaks alone is worth five stars, but I must add that the hotel is clean and the staff are very friendly. CONGRATULATIONS!!!
