The Hotel Mandelhof **** is located amidst orchards and vineyards, in a very quiet location on the edge of the famous wine-growing village of Girlan-Eppan on the Wine Route, yet close to the village. Our guests can enjoy a generous breakfast buffet, good food and wines from our own production. The atmosphere is rounded off by a choice of five-course menus, evening barbecues and cheerful company.

Rooms, suites & relaxation

The Hotel Mandelhof offers 30 bright and comfortable rooms and suites, equipped with king-size beds, air conditioning, minibars, Wi-Fi and Smart TVs. Accommodation options range from comfort rooms to more spacious suites with views of the vineyards, balconies and seating areas. The wellness centre includes a Finnish sauna, steam bath, whirlpool, sensory showers and a relaxation room surrounded by a large garden. Massages and treatments are also available in a relaxing atmosphere.

Activities for all tastes

In the environs of Hotel Mandelhof in Girlan, active vacationers will feel like in paradise. In summer, Southern South Tyrol awaits you with countless hiking paths, bike tours Nordic walking, golf and much more. Mountain bikes and e-bikes are available for rental in the hotel. During the cold months, you will look forward to wonderful winter hikes and unlimited ski fun on the slopes of Sarntal and Obereggen.

A very nice restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere, friendly service, and excellent food. We were particularly impressed by the quality of the dishes and the beautiful location in Girlan. Highly recommended!

A lovely, quiet hotel in a beautiful location with mountain views. The staff and service were excellent and always friendly. Having a reserved table outside is a great bonus. We've stayed there several times and it's always been wonderful.

I gave it two stars for the location, not because I live far away, but because you have to walk through very narrow streets. The rooms are clean. I gave it three stars because I found a bumblebee there, but the view is breathtaking. The staff, however, is very kind. Plus, the hotel has a pool and a hot tub. Perfect for those looking for a vacation.

I really loved how the staff were so accommodating, whether you had a problem or just wanted to ask for help. For example, if there was something wrong with my room and I'm a picky eater, they were very understanding and gave me more options by letting me write down what I wanted. I'm so grateful for that. The pool was beautiful and there were plenty of loungers. It's open 24/7 and is also clean (cleaned every evening). The garden is also gorgeous! It's nice and quiet, but you can also have a drink at the bar in the evening. Overall, it was wonderful and I will definitely come back!

My stay was excellent, everything was wonderful. All the staff were very friendly, but Sarah Kami was exceptionally professional. If I return to the hotel, it will be because of her. She made my stay incredibly enjoyable, helping me with everything and ensuring my family and I were happy. It was truly wonderful.

We had a fantastic holiday here with the whole family. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with a pool, whirlpool, volleyball court, a large terrace, and a lovely outdoor dining area. The rooms are bright and beautiful with great views, and there's a spa area, excellent food, and very friendly staff. A lovingly run hotel where you can truly relax and feel at home!

A very nice house, though it looks a bit worn in places. A major drawback was that the ceiling light in my room couldn't be switched off with any of the switches, and of course, the reception was closed that late. You can pull the key card, which makes it dark, but without a flashlight, you can't find your way around the bathroom at night. The service during meals, which were otherwise excellent, could have been more attentive. However, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

We were a group of friends who had dinner at the Hotel Mandelhof. Chef Damian treated us to a three-course meal, while our server Kristina impressed us with her wine knowledge. He was outstanding! We will definitely be back! Highly recommended!
