Hotel Schaurhof

We stayed at the Schaurhof and were very satisfied. Our family suite was beautiful, modern, spacious, and equipped with a wonderful terrace. The location is strategic: just 5 minutes from the Vipiteno toll booth, making it ideal both as a stopover and as a base for exploring the area. Strengths: Food: Excellent breakfasts and high-quality half-board dinners, much appreciated by our children. Rooms: Modern design and spacious. What could be improved: Bathroom amenities: Shampoo and shower gel were not up to par with the hotel; they deserve an upgrade. Water price: €5 for a bottle at dinner seems excessive, a detail that clashes with the excellent value for money of the rest of the stay. Overall, a highly recommended hotel! We will definitely return.

We had dinner at the restaurant. It was a wonderful surprise. I hadn't heard of it, even though I've been coming to Vipiteno for decades. I'll definitely be back.

The Hotel Restaurant Schaurhof was recommended to us by Snowtrex when we were looking for accommodation for a week's ski holiday with vegan options at the beginning of the year. The price-performance ratio and the ski area appealed to us, so we booked it. Our room was very clean; the bathroom bin could have been emptied daily, but otherwise everything was excellent. Our room on the first floor was a bit dark, but that wasn't a problem. Everyone who worked here was exceptionally friendly and helpful, whether it was the waitstaff at mealtimes, the owner when we ordered dinner, or whoever was at reception. Quality is clearly a priority here, and it shows. Now for my personal highlight: the food. Finding vegan options on holiday is often difficult, and I had my doubts about half-board. But the breakfast was more than sufficient for me. It included bread, rolls, spreads, hummus, muesli, and plant-based milk. Dinner was like a fine dining experience, either already vegan or adapted by the owner, so we had three vegan courses every evening. We had confirmed beforehand via email that this had been noted during booking, and everything was as expected. The food was almost always excellent, very thoughtful, and not at all run-of-the-mill. Our only suggestion for improvement: When booking half-board, you mark your preferred dinner option at breakfast. It would be very helpful if the list included ingredients or a label like "v" for vegetarian and "ve" for vegan, or something similar, and would save some time and potential questions. However, since meals were often specially adapted for us, there's really nothing to complain about. We would and will wholeheartedly recommend the entire combination of accommodation, food, and the Rosskopf Hotel to everyone. Thank you so much for everything!

Hey everyone! We're from North Tyrol and love going to South Tyrol for meals! Schaurhof is really great; we had a lovely meal, and there was a fantastic playground and indoor playroom for the kids! The food was amazing and the prices were great! We'll definitely be back – we've already made a reservation for a big party! See you soon!

Great place, you eat well, I recommend it

Even though we booked directly through the hotel, and received an email we would have free slides we still have to pay for them, because the hotel didn't provide us the voucher we had to have. Kids menu is unfortunately something I wouldn't recommend. Pasta bolognese with just one spoon of sauce. We did ask for more, and got it, but if we haven't it would be just a bit of colored pasta. Nuggets and croquettes were burned and inedible. Such a shame.

We went there for dinner on Christmas Day evening. I reserved a table on a whim from Germany, and we weren't disappointed; the food was delicious. We'd love to come back.

This family-run hotel, just minutes from the center of Vipiteno and the Rosskopf slopes, offers spacious, always clean and well-maintained rooms, as are all the common areas and the sauna. In addition to the friendliness of the entire staff, the hotel stands out for its excellent cuisine, both included in the half-board and à la carte options, featuring traditional dishes and more modern options. The hotel has convenient parking and is also well-served by public transportation. Highly recommended for families.

Fantastic! Abundant breakfast, a wide selection of sweet and savory dishes, including gluten-free options. Dinner was peaceful, plentiful, and of high quality! A spa area is included with your stay, and in your room you'll find a nice binder with all the information you might need. A strategic location.
