The hotel is situated on an idyllic high plateau on the verge of the Dolomites and is characterised by a picturesque view to Etschtal, to Tramin and Kaltern. We will welcome you with many new features: 21 new double rooms, 7 new suites, new reception, sauna world on the top floor, sun terrace on the roof, charging stations for e-cars, bike depot with charging station for e-bikes.

We lay great emphasis on a cosy atmosphere and courteous service, and we do all to ensure you a pleasant and unforgettable stay. Therefore, we offer spaciously furnished rooms and suites with snug beds, wonderful sunny terraces and balconies. An indoor and an outdoor pool, a well-tended garden and the extensive culinary offer at our restaurant complete the offer at Hotel Tenz.

We stayed for 5 days at Hotel Tenz, in a mountain-view room on the 3rd floor. The view from the balcony—and even from the bed—was fantastic. The owners, Silvia and Thomas, are so warm and welcoming—a quality you rarely find.The staff, especially Verena, took great care of us. We went on excursions in all directions along the Wine Route. The only thing we felt could be improved was the food.

The location is absolutely fantastic for us—very quiet and a bit away from the hustle and bustle, with a stunning view. The hotel is nestled among apple orchards and vineyards and features a beautiful outdoor pool, which is also a bit off the beaten path but just a 5-minute walk away. Breakfast left nothing to be desired, and the dinner menu was something special—not your everyday fare. It was just right for us, though big eaters will surely have to ask for seconds. The couple who run the place were especially friendly, helpful, and approachable. The information provided at check-in about how the hotel operates and where everything is located was really helpful. They were also happy to offer tips on things to do in the area and asked for feedback right away. There’s a separate bike room with charging stations for e-bikes, as well as the option to rent a bike on short notice....

Since we’ve vacationed at the TENZ countless times as a couple, we’re always delighted by the warm, family-like atmosphere and the outstanding service provided by the entire staff. That’s why, for us, when we go to South Tyrol, we head to Montan and the TENZ.
