Welcome to Pension Maria***S in Antermoia

Our family-run Guest House Maria is located in Antermoia in St. Martin in Thurn, in the heart of the unique South Tyrolean Dolomites. Here you can spend some relaxing days and enjoy numerous hikes or mountain bike tours through the Nature Park Puez-Geisler.

Your holiday home in the Dolomites

Our cosy rooms are furnished in typical Tyrolean style and equipped with bathroom/WC, hairdryer, TV, balcony, safe and free Wi-Fi. The small wellness area with sauna, steam bath and relaxing room invites to spend some pleasant moments. Our kitchen team will pamper you every day with typical South Tyrolean and Mediterranean delicacies, prepared with fresh products from the region. A special highlight is our homemade ice cream.

Summer & winter pleasures

A free shuttle bus brings you directly to the slopes of the skiing area Kronplatz in winter. Furthermore, there are waiting numerous possibilities for ski tours, toboggan runs, cross-country ski runs and paths for snowshoe hikes in the nearby surroundings. We offer free snowshoes and toboggans for lending to our guests. In summer, our Guest House Maria is a perfect starting point for mountain bike tours, hikes and trips with the motorcycle. For motorcyclists, we offer a garage, a place for washing the bike and for simple repairs.

Excellent cleanliness. Nearly impeccable service. Quiet, bright, and panoramic (the Dolomites from every window!) Half-board offers generous, high-quality dinners, mostly in keeping with South Tyrolean culinary tradition, with exquisite and beautifully presented variations offered daily. The kindness of the family who runs the property is unfailing. Breakfasts are varied, both sweet and savory. The place is quiet and welcoming, generously equipped with relaxation areas, a bar, fitness facilities, and a sauna. Every room has a terrace with a view, with a few exceptions (the ground floor and street-facing rooms). The property expands its accommodation capacity with a second building opposite the first, the two cones connected underground (the basement level of both buildings is connected).

We had two wonderful days at the guesthouse; the rooms were clean, cozy, and comfortably furnished. We enjoyed the generous breakfast in the beautiful garden, and our hosts were extremely helpful and very kind! If we ever find ourselves in this beautiful area again, we'll definitely come back!

During our 3-night stay at Pension Maria, we had a wonderful experience overall. The welcoming atmosphere made us feel at home, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. My husband has specific dietary needs, and we were impressed with how smoothly these were addressed; he even received some delightful dishes he hadn’t anticipated! The meals were delicious, and we genuinely enjoyed everything offered. Our room was spacious, clean, and featured a very comfortable bed, which contributed to a restful stay. The location suited us perfectly; it was peaceful and away from the busy crowds, yet still conveniently close to other attractions.

Today is the last day of the holiday here at the Maria guesthouse for the second year and I can say that my family and I with two very small children felt very welcomed, lots of attention, excellent food and care!!
