A stunning location between Merano and the mountains. A very kind and welcoming family with a long tradition of winemaking and running vacation rentals.

What we liked best was the host's friendliness and the pleasant conversations we had with him. We also loved the location, with its many opportunities for hiking and relaxation. There is a wide variety of restaurants, cafes, and wine bars to choose from.

We really liked the hosts—they were friendly and helpful. The house is in a fantastic location, with a great view from the upper vacation apartments. There’s a bus right outside the door that goes to Algund and Merano.

The hosts are a very kind and welcoming family; we've stayed there several times and always enjoy going back. The house is clean, the garden with the pool is clean, and the apartments are beautiful, clean, and equipped with everything you need.

We’ve been vacationing at Obermaratscher twice a year for years now, and it’s always wonderful. The family is warm and welcoming and always accommodates special requests. We park the car when we arrive and then take the bus right outside the front door. In 10 minutes, you’re right in the heart of Merano. Of course, you can also walk the Waalweg trail, which is right above the lodging. We’ve already booked again for next year.
