Welcome to Apartment Obermaratscher in Algund!

Our home is a place to relax and to feel good! Our pension with 8 apartments is located in a sunny location at the foot of the Texel Group Nature Park, with breathtaking views of Meran. Nice and comfortable surroundings will welcome you during your holidays in Meran and environs.

Comfortable & modern flats

We offer cozy and comfortable furnished apartments which offer space for 2-5 people. All apartments are equipped with a separated sleeping and living room and with phone, internet and balcony. Relax in our wonderful sun pool and in our nice garden!

In the centre of a way of adventure

Our hotel is centrally located, near a bus stop, allowing you to explore the neighborhood without even having to take the car. The lifts and the Texel Group are at your disposal for unforgettable holidays! The area of Meran is very famous for its beautiful canals of trails, paths that run along the old irrigation canals in the area, an experience especially in spring, during a fascinating period of flowering! We do not allow dogs in our apartments.

C. and C. are the most wonderful hosts. We had great apartments last year and this year. Everything is very clean and well-maintained. A very beautiful house with the opportunity to buy drinks, homemade spreads, and eggs from the house's own chickens. A warm and trusting foundation.
The garden is very large and lovingly landscaped and maintained with retreats, a ping-pong table, barbecue facilities, a gazebo, plenty of loungers, and space around the top-floor pool.
We will come back again and again, whether with or without grown-up kids...
The region is always worth a visit, and the Obermaratscher makes it all the more worthwhile.

We had a wonderful two-week summer vacation in Obermaratsch. We especially enjoyed the beautifully landscaped, well-kept, and thoughtfully designed garden. We always found a spot to ourselves. The apartment was super clean, and the view from our second-floor apartment over Algund to Merano, across to Tirolo village, and into the mountains was breathtaking. A wonderful holiday, lovely accommodation, and very friendly hosts.

The sunbathing area with saltwater pool, swing, and foosball table was a nice change of pace for our little one; for us, of course, it was just the pool. We're going back next year because it was simply beautiful and very clean ️

A wonderful and, above all, very clean holiday apartment in an excellently run guesthouse, with a fantastic view. The house wine (Solaris) is a must-try. We felt very comfortable, and the host family is truly welcoming. Thank you for this relaxing vacation.

We rented an apartment in Obermaratscher this summer. The view from the balcony of the town and Merano/Tirol village is fantastic. There's a bus stop right in front of the house. The Algund Card offers free travel throughout the region and discounts at various museums. Our hosts took great care of us and gave us many tips on restaurants and excursions. The saltwater pool in the beautiful garden is a great place to cool off in the summer heat. Wonderful!!! The vacation left nothing to be desired. Many thanks again to our hosts, the Mazohl family.

We were looking for a quiet place with a panoramic balcony, and we found it. The view is magnificent, especially at night. The owner is truly kind and available for any need, offering advice on good food and places to visit upon request. I recommend the walk that starts from the residence and winds through vineyards and apple orchards to the nearby castles. For those who are more adventurous, there's a comfortable path to the center of Merano.
And I almost forgot: the Forst beer house, with its beer garden and excellent restaurant, is just a three-minute drive away, or a beautiful 15-minute walk away—a must-try.

We received a very warm welcome. The location of this accommodation is perfect; the bus stops right outside. Bikes can be parked in the garage, and the pool (the temperature could be a bit warmer) is a great place to relax. This is our second time there and we're always happy to come back!

We received a very warm welcome and were provided with many excellent suggestions (for a hiking holiday). The apartment's amenities left nothing to be desired. We were even able to store our bicycles in the lockable garage.

Good connections to the public transport network, which can be used free of charge in South Tyrol with the included Algund Card.
