Welcome to Apartment Obermaratscher in Algund!

Our home is a place to relax and to feel good! Our pension with 8 apartments is located in a sunny location at the foot of the Texel Group Nature Park, with breathtaking views of Meran. Nice and comfortable surroundings will welcome you during your holidays in Meran and environs.

Comfortable & modern flats

We offer cozy and comfortable furnished apartments which offer space for 2-5 people. All apartments are equipped with a separated sleeping and living room and with phone, internet and balcony. Relax in our wonderful sun pool and in our nice garden!

In the centre of a way of adventure

Our hotel is centrally located, near a bus stop, allowing you to explore the neighborhood without even having to take the car. The lifts and the Texel Group are at your disposal for unforgettable holidays! The area of Meran is very famous for its beautiful canals of trails, paths that run along the old irrigation canals in the area, an experience especially in spring, during a fascinating period of flowering! We do not allow dogs in our apartments.

Alles in allem super, wir waren schon das dritte Mal da und haben schon wieder gebucht. Die Gastgeber sind super nett, zuvorkommend und sehr kinderfreundlich man fühlt sich wie Zuhause.

Die Lage mit Blick auf Algund und Meran, die Bushaltestelle direkt vorm Grundstück, der Swimmingpool im Garten. Die Gastgeber waren immer für unsere Anliegen ansprechbar. Wir fühlten uns dort fast we Zuhause.

This was our second time here, and the hosts are very friendly and helpful. The apartment was always excellent; it's very nice and well-equipped. The location is perfect. Everything is nearby for shopping, hiking, cycling, and the bus stops right outside. We would love to come back again.

We spent 10 days in June 2026 enjoying a wonderful stay at the Obermaratsch Apartments and can wholeheartedly recommend them. The apartment was clean and well-equipped. The balcony offered breathtaking views of the South Tyrolean mountains. We were particularly impressed by the beautifully landscaped garden. There are plenty of play options for children, ensuring they never get bored and have lots of fun. The absolute highlight for us, however, was the pool. It was well-maintained, clean, and offered the perfect refreshment on warm days. Another big plus was the South Tyrolean Guess Pass, which allowed us to use public transportation free of charge to explore the surrounding area. The bus stop is right in front of the building. The Mazohl family, our hosts, were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help, making us feel at home from the very beginning. Overall, we had a very relaxing stay and felt completely at ease. We would love to come back and thank you for the wonderful time! Heike and Frank

We stayed in the Algund holiday apartment for 12 days. The balcony offers a wonderful view of Merano, Dorf Tirol, and the mountains. Both the apartment and the entire farm, including the beautiful garden and pool, were very well-maintained and clean. The bread delivery service was excellent, and we received fresh towels and other amenities several times throughout our stay. The bus stop is right outside the door – buses run very frequently, making it easy to get around by public transport. A hiking trail leads practically right past the farm up to the Algund irrigation channel path (Waalweg). We felt very comfortable there – also thanks to the warm hospitality of our hosts, Claudia and Christian. We highly recommend Obermaratscher and would gladly return ourselves.

Wir waren das erste Mal im Obermaratscher Appartements, und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es war eine Familiäre Atmosphäre. Es war ruhig,eine wunderschöne Aussicht und viele Wandermöglichkeiten. Das Auto konnte man stehen lassen,da es kostenlose Verkehrsmittel gab.
