On 26th and 28th January, will be held at the Reschensee, Vinschgau, the fourth leg of the Italian Snowkite Championship.
The Italian Snowkite Championship of the disciplines Freestyle and Race takes place from 26th until 28th January 2018 on the frozen Lake Reschen. For some time, this stretch of water in Vinschgau has been a popular meeting point for passionate snowkiters.
The participants are on skis or snowboards and driven by the wind that blows their big stunt kites around. In this way, they perform unique tricks in the air or on the ground – or dash on the ice at a speed of up to 100 km/h.
The Italian Snowkite Championship and also the German Championship form part of the event called Int. Snowkite Open that takes place in Reschen every year.
